This thread is not about Salman but about all movie celebrities who are convicted of criminal offenses actors, directors, music producers, singers etc. Should convicted criminals be allowed to work in Bollywood? Do they have a responsibility for setting role models or sponsoring convicted criminals who are living off on the avails of crime? If you think about it the Directors and Producers and Bollywood as a whole are just another employer who employs performers for their projects. If people cannot hold certain positions of jobs based on their criminal records then why should Bollywood be exempt?
Your thoughts?

You heard wrong, he's doing quite well in Hindi, Marathi and even Tamil cinemas, didn't you see him in Golmaal returns, Ab Tak Chappan, Welcome Back, The attacks of 26/11 etc?

No. If people in the real world who have done serious crimes have a hard time doing jobs, why should celebs get a special treatment. They are human too afterall.

With a criminal record you cannot hold employment in many professions, this question is also posed for travel and often people with convicted criminal records reject their visa applications. Nowadays you don't even have to be convicted, many times I see a question "Have you been charged for a crime".
