"Please , Don't go" Zoya pleaded , her voice trembling .
"It's all over Zoya , I have no reason to stay" Adi said sounding soft , confused .
She looked at him teary eyed "I can't manage all of this, alone"
"You'll have to learn Zoya, just as you did in these months"
"But I had you"
He inched closer "Zoya don't make this harder than it already is for me"
"Stay away from Mahi , she's using you and she'll try to trample you over time and again . I won't be here for you this time around . Take your medicines on time . And for God's sake don't end up crying when things don't go your way . The Zoya I know is fiesty and strong . And that's how I want to see you,always."
He held her hands , "I'm sorry for all the things I've said and done . I'm a call away if you need anything , anything at all. Bye Zoya , Take Care . Come On , Ms.Cry Baby Siddiqui"
She hugged him , hugged him very tight. "Thank You Aditya , for everything ."
"Ssshhh"
"Zoya , I've to leave"
"I'm sorry" she said pulling out of the hug hurriedly realizing what she had done.
"Bye"
He left Zosh Events . As he stepped out , the past months flashed in front of his eyes . His anger , hurt , frustration was now subdued. He now cared about Zoya , felt protective about her . His innocent Zoya.
Initially it annoyed him that she couldn't accept reality , but later on he began to understand her and how she was brought up and brainwashed by Yash of sorts.
She reminded him of his mother , and as much as he tried to hate her , he would feel like saving her , like yelling at her to understand the reality . He did time and again . She finally began to accept the apparent truth . He had been there for her through her absolute worst ; her phase of 'Yash ne humaare saath aisa kyun kiya? Hum Mein Kya Kami Hai? Hum Kaafi Nahi The Kya?' and him consoling her that they had done nothing wrong, but somehow , they had lost .
Her breakdown had crept deep into his heart . He never wanted to see her so helpless , and that night was the first time he had hugged her and she had slept on his shoulder . He hadn't moved an inch just in case it would wake her up . And there was today , when she had hugged him , life does come full circle doesn't it? What a sadistic plan of destiny .
He didn't want to leave , but if he didn't , the sanctity of their relation would be in question . And he didn't want her character to be questioned or in any sort of jeopardy.
It hurt him a little more than it should have . He turned to look at her one more time . She stood there , right where he had left her . She waved .
He couldn't move . He went upto her , cupped her face , "Zoya" and he hugged her .
