Noor clothes were fine and I certainly don't find them much revealing either. With all due respect the way we dress has nothing to do with religion, culture or parents for that matter. Its mostly about the mentality people see others and judge others.
What I believe is you should dress as per the occasion and place. If you wear mini skirt to temple it will look awkward not because you are being disrespectful but because other may not be dressed as you will fill out of place similar you wouldn't want to go to party wearing salwar kameej.
Either way how we dress should be matter of our choice and comfort and not bound by some social obligations.
