collaborating with the actor once again for
the film Bharat. The movie is said to be a
remake of a Korean film. While as per the
initial buzz, it was reported that Priyanka
Chopra will be seen with Salman in Bharat.
While fans expected that PC will make it
official on her recent visit to the country, the
actress left for Ireland without sharing any
update on her next Bollywood film.
Now, a report in Mumbai Mirror suggests
that Priyanka's name has been dropped
from the list of possible actresses in Bharat.
The tabloid also added that it's most likely
that Salman's current favourite co-star and
ggod friend Katrina Kaif will be roped in for
the project. Katrina did not comment on the
matter when the tabloid reached out to her.
Last seen together in Ali Abbas Zafar's Tiger
Zinda Hai, both Salman and Katrina have
done about seven films with each other and
if this buzz turns out to be true, then Bharat
will be their eighth outing. Surely, they do
make for a wonderful on-screen pair and
the audience also enjoys their on screen
chemistry.
Meanwhile, speculations about Priyanka's
next Bollywood film are rife too. Earlier, her
name also popped up in the Sahir Ludhianvi
biopic. Apparently, PC was to play Amrita
Pritam in the film but she later opted out of
the project. There was also buzz about her
being roped in for Salute that initially starred
Aamir Khan. But that also didn't happen
since Aamir dropped out and the makers
reportedly got Shah Rukh Khan on board.
A source had earlier informed DNA After Hrs,
"PC had been reading a lot of scripts. She
has zeroed in on one finally. Earlier, there
were advanced talks about her being cast
opposite Aamir Khan in Salute, but that isn't
happening anymore because now Shah
Rukh Khan is the lead."
As of now, PC has reportedly finalised the
Kalpana Chawla biopic and is likely to begin
filming for it this month. However, we still
wait an official confirmation on the same
from the actress.
