Getting carried away by our stars' performances on the big screen may be a general emotion that we look at. But there's something deeper when characters on screens are not characters anymore but people who become a reality. Something like this happened to the super energetic Bollywood star Ranveer Singh. His demeanour when he takes up an on-screen character sometimes blur the lines between reality and made up cinema. And now there's a live example of a fan getting carried away on those lines. It so happened that a fan gifted Ranveer a painting of his Bajirao character from the 2015 film Bajirao Mastani after watching his portrayal of Alauddin Khilji from January-release film, Padmaavat. Ranveer's brilliant performance as the villain in the film moved the fan so much that he had to paint a picture of Bajirao just to remind him that Ranveer could be 'good'. Here's the painting.
Moved by the painting, Ranveer hung it in his home. The gesture should definitely be appreciated as Ranveer does care for his fans. In a Mid-dayarticle, a source close to the Bollywood hunk said, "Ranveer has placed the painting in his living room so that he can be reminded of the love his fans harbour for him. He salutes their overwhelming affection and hopes the painting will motivate him to push the envelope with every act. The fan dropped off the painting at the YRF office in Andheri. They, in turn, contacted the actor and handed it over to him."
Time and again we have seen Ranveer's high energy packed performances blended with a fearless side too. His films have paved through genres from romantic comedies to subtle clever roles like in Lootera. In many areas, the actor does remind us that he is a stand-alone performer and doesn't need an ally in the industry. His upcoming film Simmba, will release in December co-starring Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan which would mark the actress' debut.
