I admire Neil Armstrong as a person, brave pilot and a great astronaut but, he lived a low profile life, the first ever man to set foot on another heavenly body didn't have an ounce of excitement to share the experience. Look at this post apollo 11 press conference, do they really look like the men who just returned from the moon accomplishing the greatest feat for the mankind? Humans have never left low earth orbit.
