As we all know, the trp of Naamkarann is low. But the fact that all of SP is low, means its the channel's fault rather than naamkarann. I know this means they will pull the plug soon, but meri durga and ikyawann will most likely go first.
On how to increase the trp, or extend Naamkarann's time, this is coming from an amateur perspective, but if everyone sends an email to star plus, and the naamkarann production house on how much the show actually means to them, will delay the stop. But this won't work if theres only a handful of people. There needs to be atleast a handful of emails within a week for the production teams to actually take notice. The more voices are heard, the more SP as well as the PH team will realise how much potential naamkarann has. We need to put in a united front. If enough people say it, they might even pull in more ads. Tbh, i hardly see naamkarann ads, only kulfi and the other politician show. So theres rooms for naamkarann to be advertised. Don't complain either, just advocate your love for the show and request for more ads. Another thing to add, is about hotstar. Either get the hotstar service counted in the trp points, or make the shows be uploaded the following day, rather than before on the premium service. I know that has been a point mentioned by many of you guys, but StarPlus has lost its spot in the channel race. The company as a whole would be open to a lot more public suggestions as the fact they are coming number 6th right now is embarrassing for them. Considering Star Plus used to be the top channel.

Now the second and third resolutions are more targetted at the production house and Star Plus than us.

Secondly for the show to garner the attention of aunties, it has to do what it was previously doing at the start of the leap. There needs to be celebrations of traditonal functions. I know this show appeals to the young, but you'd be surprised how much more likely the older generation is likely to watch a show if only it has indian festivals celebrated in it. Before the Vidyut-Juhi track, there were many functions. Not alot that it was overbearing, but there was enough to keep the interest of the general star plus audience. There were all the functions of the Neel-Rhea wedding, but then there was prakash-shweta's wedding anniversary too, there was that puja once too, where Shweta realises Neel is willing to come to a puja because of her. In addition to this, Avni probably should wear sarees again. I know I'm sounding critical of western culture with this point (which i'm not, I'm Australian, and live this culture) but from what I can tell, shows where the main lead's have nice indian fashion as opposed to nice western fashion, do better trp wise. She doesn't have to change her entire look, but once in a while, wear a saree for the aunties.

Thirdly, like zeetv, get shows to have mahasangham episodes Or let their be more interviews. Naamkaran needs to have its presence felt. Or make it come on another timeslot. Kumkum bhagya is its rival. If it comes just half an hour earlier, it will increase the trp. Less competition since kumkum bhagya and kundali bhagya will always remain on top. It gets overshadowed by other big tv shows, if Naamkarann makes a spot for its own, it will be unstoppable (or alteast at a better position than now).

Lastly, do not turn off the channel as soon as Naamkarann goes off, watch it for an extra two minutes. Sometimes the episodes end before the allocated time, and switching tv channels might effect if the view was counted or not.

Mainthing was no promo at all those viewers were thing like thy will watch once avneil f2f will happn we will continue will never knw avneil meet actually happened
not new at-least old promo only thy could have played in btw ads rather than one shw promo running all time

for sp long running shws are doing well wo promo cos of loyal audience factor

only yeh rishta kya kehleta hain, and yeh hai mohabateinn are doing well. With Ekta Kapoor and YHM, she's nailed down what the typical indian viewer wants. She doesn't cater for the younger audience,even Kundali bhagya, who has a younger cast, doesn't cater for the younger audience. Even Yeh Rishta kya kehlata hain, who i think shifted the main two leads, made the leads stay in somewhat a traditional avataar. Sadly the truth of the matter is, clothes/fashion and indian functions are more important in Indian society than good storylines and good acting.

Yet even then, i think yeh rishta kya kehlata was out of the top 10 this week. Star Plus has fallen down in their ranking, not only Naamkarann. They need their loyal viewers. They need to cater for naamkarann if they get enough of a public response to do so. It happens in American shows all the time.

and also airtel dtv had some issue related to start channels but i wont say its the only reason could be one of them

exactly and in her shws i think lead centric tracks only happen i may be wrng cos i never watch any of her shws and just my guess

tracking involing leads also play crucial part and here thy shwoing jr chuhi love stry/crush it was nt making sense at all that to lot of ss given

Zaan is dng good but jr chuhi i didnt feel connected at all

Kundali Bhagya is the highest watched show atm and it spends more than half the time focusing on the villains.
When Reema Lagoo ji was affiliated with the show, since even the villain was a good actor, the show was easier to be digested.
I agree. I think the PH has to somehow find out that the general audience doesn't like Saesha. They need to focus more on Khanna parivaar or DD-sunehri if they actually want to gain viewers. Those tropes will be more interesting.Or even Zaan and Zain scenes so KK can bring Neel back to being with Avni
