I have not watched the Sasural Genda Phool show .. but I hope it was better than this one.
I hope within a week or so, they show Nimki leaving Baboo or at least taking a stance for herself because honestly, I am on the verge of stopping to watch this one. I have never been the one to watch these sagas, so for me this one started well but now it is becoming unbearable. Sad because this one has the real potential to be funny as well as give a social message. They could have used Nimki and Abhimanyu's relationship to add a cute love story too. And that village accent is fun anyway.
But guess frog-in-the-well syndrome is way too common amongst the writers plus production houses in TV Industry. They can't think beyond the typical garbage that has been served to Indian audience for almost two decades now.
These guys would rather try the tested formula and have their shows flopped and taken off from air, rather than trying something worth it.
