@spfanI will believe all the above claims if u can prove it with a quantified data set...not simple assumption based on comments n instincts and guess work...Till now the only quantified data is the trp(not the online trp scam)which says it has a loyal audience despite namik/vsc paired with Donal...I think u are also aware of online marketing...ppl are paid to write about shows...it's called public relations management...an actresses wedding pr got so overboard...every news agency ran reports about it,people wrote open letters to condemn the act!!!All the claims made above regarding the chemistry is a personal opinion...which everyone has...it can't be generalized...
edkv had lesser trp than edt but edkv is considered to be a better show with a bigger fan base. Same goes to vikram's last show. The show had lesser trp compared to other starplus shows but had a strong fan base. Ishqbaaz would have been shut down a long time ago if it wasnt for the huge online fanbase and support. It is an extremely big budget show and dont have enough trp considering the budget and the channel it airs.even the slightest rumour of it going off air creates a storm online. Also yudkbh airs at 10:30 and still has higher trp than edt. So yes online viewers matter these days. Also when a show is highly sucessful online it reflects on IF as well. Look at the activity on edt forum. The forum is almost dead. People dont even rant on the show anymore. Edt might get shut down as soon as sony gets a better show to replace it. Its not running because it is successful but because the show is not running at a loss like haasil did due to bigger budget and you can see the desperate moves by the cvs to get the show going. Nowadays its more like a fan service than a thriller. And if the current article is true then vikram's ex costar is making an entry soon. That will surely create some buzz for the show
About online portals most of the yt channels gives iv of actors who have a good online fan following. There were many ivs of niti taylor even when she was absent from tv for an year because she has a strong youth fan following and they know it will give them viewers. But they dont do that with actors from saas bhahu serials ones it ends because the online fan following is lesser. The individual ivs and articles about actors have more to do with the interest of the audience than pr. The articles related to shows are mostly pr work and to promote the show.
