Deepika Padukone to reject 'xXx 4'? Is this the real reason?.

Last year, Deepika Padukone made her
debut in Hollywood opposite Vin Diesel in
xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Though, the film
didn't do as pe
r expectations at Indian and American box
office, it was a huge hit in China. Going by
that, the director DJ Caruso had announced
the fourth film in the xXx franchise.
Earlier reports suggested that xXx 4 will be
made with Deepika Padukone headlining
the cast as the protagonist. DJ Caruso had
already shared that Deepika will be a part of
xXx 4 as well, but is that really happening?
Well, turns out that DP has neither denied
nor accepted to be a part of the film as she
hasn't been offered a contract for the same
as yet. A Mumbai Mirror report suggests that
as of now, Deepika has neither said a 'yes'
or a 'no' to the project for the same reason.
The tabloid further adds that xXx 3 didn't
become instrumental in DP's Hollywood
aspirations and since there's no substantial
offer for her on the plate or her role in xXx
4, DP is apparently planning to reject the
film.
On the work front, post the super success of
Padmaavat, Deepika had signed Vishal
Bhardwaj's next with Irrfan Khan. It's
working title is said to be Sapna Didi but
that is likely to be postponed as of now,
because of DP's back injury and Irrfan has
also been diagnosed with a rare disease.

Let me repeat again...the film was a hit in China because of the presence of the Chinese superstars(Donnie Yen and Kris Wu) in it!

She should better focus on her career in Bollywood.

I would rather she ventured out & tried new things ... Her XXX stint was applaud worthy IMO .. She did shine in the movie ..

i don't know why trying new things is looked down upon in Bollywood because it may not work out .. if i was an actress there, i'd be so bored with lack of diverse and meaningful roles.. and even be part of misogynistic movies just to be "successful"..

getting experience in a work environment different to the one you are used to could be very valuable..
