I see people VICIOUSLY attacking certain fandoms but i have never heard a peep out of those fans. So why is that there is always personal attack on "non-fans" in response to their criticism of DP?

With that being said, there is no way in HELL that i'll ever believe that she will say no to the ONLY ticket of relevancy she has for Hollywood. She milked a mediocre, short role in xxx3 to the fullest and there is no way she is going to pass up another opportunity.

IMO she was told that she has been passed on and they were going in a different direction and this is her PR doing damage control. I mean what else is she busy with? What other creative choices is she making? Simmba? C'mon, gimme a break.

Its high time she realizes her mistake and takes up Simmba and Kick 2 and whatever else is getting. There are not many opportunities for a 32 year old actress and she needs to do whatever to stay in the limelight. In this fickle industry you are great one day and a has-been the next.

Or she's playing hard to get so she can get a bigger paycheck by making it look like she needs to be convinced because she's not interested.

If the xXx option is open, I don't buy that she would turn it down. Getting paid in dollars will give her the big paycheck she wants and she can try once again to make a blip on the HW radar. If nothing else, it increases visibility, would book her on a few talk shows for promotion, get her party invites, fashion show invites and another chance to network and meet people. Visibility and networking are the most important in order to land more roles.

PC benefitted hugely from settling for a TV role because it airs for months at a time and the channel pushes you everywhere for promotion. Even though it's a really bad show with abysmal ratings, the outside benefits she gets are worth it.

LOL the same way DP fans are VICIOUSLY personally attacked everytime ? You don't get to cry about attack on non fans because everytime DP fans are personally attacked similar way. non fans attack fans, fans attack non fans, it's how the forum works, get over it.

LOL... Fans who are interested in watching her in Bollywood movies aren't necessarily the same people who would be interested in watching her in Hollywood movies .. This is why Hollywood was/is a gamble for DP .. She will have to work her way up there & win new fans .. Whether she manages to achieve it or not is secondary IMO .. Gamble sometimes pays off, sometimes doesn't .. At least the film didn't flop and was a financial success - reason why there are talks of a sequel .. When DP fans talk of this BO success , it is immediately taken to mean as if they are attributing the success to DP's stardom , which isn't true .. In fact , I see the "non-fans" constantly trying to bring down DP's XXX stint even though it was a global success .. It was her first HW film, I doubt even her fans are that delusional to call it a success based on her star power .. She is yet to build her star power in HW or even in regional cinemas back home .. She is a Bollywood superstar at the moment .. I would rather she doesn't remain content with being one especially given how it is strictly temporary for an actress in BW ..

@ Resident Evil - look at first page of this thread ..VICIOUS attacks on DP fans were already started by the above quoted newbie .. Perhaps , you expect DP fans to be more mature & ignore the trolls unlike other fandoms .. But that ship sailed long ago , your posts are already quoted, aren't they ? ..😳 😆

I actually think she was amazing in XXX..she had a good enough role..and made her presence felt..

also loved how she was just herself..not trying hard to be westernized..or pick up an accent..no wonder Elen also loved her..there is something so calm and surreal about her..

i feel she had a much stronger role in XXX than PC in Baywatch..PC was hardly there for 5-10min

Everyone was so keen to write off her BW career with the gap but she bounced back stronger than ever with a BB..

now she can relax and do whatever she wants to..
