There was a time when the most hated person of Ishqbaaaz/Shivika fandom was this Punjabi lady with incorrects 😆 Hindi and a viper like tongue.She is SSO's mom and Annika's mother-in-law.

She hated Annika, called her a gold digger, a thief;

threw her out when Shivaay was in hospital

tried to defame her as the daughter of a bar dancer/prostitute

And was ultimately successful in separating Shivaay and Annika for 3 months

We all prayed and prayed that she gets her comeuppance and had vowed never ever to like her. We hated her like teenybops hated pimples and like mankind hated hostile aliens.We cursed her to the depths of hell!

The God of Indian Telly soap land laughed and the Narads of the show, aka, CVS rofled.The arc that had crossed the Milky way and was on road to Andromeda galaxy finally made a U turn and we get this ------

I rest my case...my "Pinnika" ship officially set sail today. There is enough strength in the breeze for my ship to sail forward with glory and hopefully will not meet its end in an iceberg😆

Pinky aunty is love. I never thought that I can love her again after what she did to my Annika. But thanks to HS. Looking forward to more awsome scenes of this khidkhithod MIL-DIL (would love mother-daughter) duo.

Rimi sorry, you can say me bit rigid, still i am not enjoying Pinnika. Sorry from Pinki is required, if not I am waiting for the scene where Pinki tells Annika to say mom. She still calls her aunty and Annika is the person who never impose her relations on anybody. I still remember the scene where Shakti told her to say papa and how happy she was.

Oh my god! I am so elated after the caps.

Pardon me as I unnecessarily share my thoughts (ramblings) :P

I hadn't watched the pregnancy - Laal Ishq track and jumped to vanwaas and so my first reaction was: Pinky is going to blame Anika for finally managing to separate Shivaay from everyone. Oh the horror.

But then that didn't happen, she called Anika her 'bahu' and I was quite surprised. Quickly watching pehle ka epis, I concluded that Pinky had a sudden change of heart, just at the thought of seeing her grandchild.

To be honest, her apology at that time seemed not enough because it wasn't basically accepting her faults. We never really got a proper... (I ain't getting the proper word right now.) Probably, repenting Pinky. She was still adamant that Anika wasn't the right one. She was happy when Shivaay married one woman and declared another as his wife (again!). Matlab, she can trust a woman who just came into the house but not that one who has been there for the past 350+ epis (I guess.)

It is only recently that there has been a very gradual ( or maybe sudden, I am not even sure) change in her demeanour. I loved her in the Friday episode and the episode two days ago. It was like she was finally shedding of that evil skin that she grew for a particular 'arc'. It finally went around a few universes and it's here, still not done. An apology and a 'call me Mom' very much required :/

These caps are such a treat to the eyes and making me so happy. The very first one has me smiling so so effing much.

I always had it that they'll be a dynamic mother-DIL duo... if only we could see more of Pinnika v/s Shivaay () it would be a dream come true.

Did I even make sense though :P

Thanks for this post. I am with you in shipping them.

Anika still calls her Aunty. Pinky begrudgingly respects Anika. She has finally realised that this girl is the one for her heera beta shivaay and accepted her.

They are slowly easing into their relationship. No overly Ma dialogues or touching feet. It wouldn't suit both the characters.

Dancing together is what actually Pinnika are.

Let's ship them together:))

HS arc might have reached another universe and returned but you have to give kudos to her for this unique saas-bahu combo in the IB land.
