Specially if it's RajaRaja Cholan then defeating is just a dream😆😆
Rajarajan and Rajendran are golden period of Chola kindgom
Infact one of the most successful kings in Indian History

😆 I know, the show title clarifies it . "Chola king- history, Name of the Chola king - rahasya"😉

One persons hero is another persons villian. In chola kingdom raja raja cholan and rajendran are heros. In kingdoms they defeated they will be potrayed as villians. On a different note is the popular notion in thanjavur that raja raja cholan was assasinated while inspection of Big Temple true or is it just a urban legend?

This is true that chola kings were considered as villains but this two were unbeaten. So if they bring chola king in the context it can shown as how smartly Tailab join hands with them to capture PV cunningly later (completely my prediction).

By the way, Rajarajan was not assassinated, it was natural death. No one consider like this here.

I am also hearing this for first time
I mean RajaRajan's assassination
btw it's natural that the defeated ones will portray one who won as villains😆😆
but from whatever I read or heard from my Dad
RajaRajan and Rajendran inspite of winning different kingdoms inside and outside India
didn't loot them like Mughals or Britishers
but anyways here we r yet to see which Chola King they are referring too😆😆

This is what i found on net

As a Rashtrakuta vassal, Tailap may have participated in his overlord Krishna III's campaigns against their southern neighbours, the Cholas. A 980 inscription describes Tailapa as Indra's thunderbolt to the strong Chola mountain. At that time, the Chola king was Uttama, and it is possible that his attempts to recover the territories captured by Krishna brought him into conflict with Tailapa.

Uttama's successor Rajaraja I invaded and captured several territories in present-day Karnataka, as attested by a 991 Mysore inscription and other inscriptions that mention his conquest of Ganga and Nolamba territories 993 onwards.

Tailapa's 992 Kogali inscription states that he stayed at a military camp at Rodda (in present-day Anantapur district) after defeating the Chola king and seizing 150 war elephants from the enemy.

So, I guess the king that Tailap defeated was King Uttama of Chola Kingdom

Rest let's see what makers will show

Thank you for mentioning. I already mentioned that the king can't be Rajarajan I and his son. Uttama king was not like them. May be chances but he didn't go for war with Tailab but it was other way around (different from that shown in show).
