She is so blind that she cannot see whats right and whats wrong. When I see Preeta and Karan's argument, I see more romance from Karan's side but motherly behavior from Preeta's side. Preeta is the one who is always calling him childish and sort of pampers him. So I do not think "mother" word is an insult to a woman. She portrays that and most of us see it that way. It would be good to see if see shows romantic compassion towards Karan, which lacks at the moment.
