Contradicting my own programme (Porus Hi Rehna Mahiya) I would say that Puru was not wrong this time.
Yes when it came to accusing Bamni for Anusuya's death he was impulsive and jumped into a conclusion without thinking but it is not the case now.
This time he saw the man he adored and worshipped as his father for 21 years dying in his own arms.It just shattered him completely.Therefore as a son and as a subject it was his right to question Bamni.
Along with this the questions he posed to Bamni were completely logical.
We need to observe that unlike the previous case Puru did not blame Bamni for killing Ripu.He only said that Bamni is indirectly responsible for the mess which is true in a way.
Let me get this clear.Bamni is not to be blamed for what happened in Takshashila years ago.He was the victim there.Fine.
But here is where I feel he is to be blamed.
1.He is at fault for not verifying the truth behind Shivdutt's statements
Yes Bamni was feeling betrayed and hurt but after his anger cooled down couldn't he think with a calm frame of mind?
- As Puru said why didn't he try to investigate about what happened to Ripudaman's family?Didn't Bamni ever think of helping Ripudaman's widowed wife and child?
Hell even Shivdutt helped Kadika and supported her coz she was his trusted man Samar Singh's sister.Then why didn't Bamni?
-Even as a King,Bamni failed in his responsibilities.The fact that the Farsis were given so much authority in PR so as to carry out human trafficking shows this.Can a king be so oblivious to the fact that his own subjects are getting abused in his own Kingdom and his own son Kanishk and brother/Amatya are involved in HUMAN TRAFFICKING of their own people? All this was legit happening under his nose and he was blind to it.

1.If Anusuya had really plotted with Ambhiraaj to take revenge from Takshashila then why did she return to Paurav Camp after that insult fiasco? Why will she make such an idiotic move?Woh toh Takshashila palace main apne bhai ke saath champagne peekar celebrate karti.Bache ko maarna hota toh wahan maarti and aish karti.
2.According to Shivdutt's version of events,Ripudaman lost life while trying to save Bamni's son from Anusuya and Anusuya killed herself and her son,blah,blah?blah
How on earth would a pregnant Anusuya who was supposedly weak at that time be able to kill a strong and healthy man like Ripudaman?Moroever how could she evade the entire army of Paurav Rashtra without any help?
Shivdutt's entire story had a lot of loopholes.Bamni only needed to apply his brains.
Lastly I am not blaming Bamni or saying that he is a bad guy.But he made some serious blunders due to his ignorance which need rectification.
His heart doesn't have malice but his ignorance cannot be excused.As a king it was his duty to keep his eyes and ears open and not blindly believe anyone.For as a King you have the responsibilities of your subjects on your shoulders.Due to his ignorance and negligence,Shivdutt and Darius were playing him for all those years.
Puru posed these questions in front of Bamni the King and not Bamni the Father.And Bamni needed someone to show him the mirror and no one could have been better for the job than Puru.There are a lot of disasters which happen due to negligence even when there is no bad intent involved.
Basically I see this as an opportunity for Bamni to overcome his ignorance and emerge as a better king in front of Puru and win his son's respect.For let's face this fact.No one is perfect in this show.Neither Puru nor Anusuya nor Bamni.Everyone made their share of mistakes and everyone should take responsibility for them.
While I was on Bamni's side in the previous track,in this track I am totally supporting Puru and I don't think he is at fault over here.So can we please cut him some slack?
