Dear Priya,
I missed your update and caught it only today. Anyway, I got a chance to read the whole thing all over again.
Chapter 3 - the party, it was nice to see both the characters at the party as well as about Kavita who though not in the scene was quite there. And a chance eavesdropping sets the tableau for both pride and prejudice to play out. Laksh polite with everyone impress Ragini and Dadi, while Sanskaar with his outspoken frankness of his first impressions wins no brownie points.
Swara, for once, seems to be agreeing with Dadi regarding Sanskaar being arrogant and standoffish, though Ragini is desperate to have everyone see the good in him. And she is quite affected by his offhand dismissal of her as being pedestrian and yet somewhere she does want him to have good opinion of her or rather, not add to what she feels, is his low opinion of her. I guess that is what makes her answer to him with a barb of her own. Which unfortunately or fortunately would set off a different course of action. So now that Sanskaar knows that Swara overheard them and is "embarrassed" (a little, I think, for even if he still thinks her to be that he would prefer her not knowing it) and that his childhood friend works at the same place as Swara does, there would be chances for further interactions, encounters which might not be possible if a prejudiced Swara had not spoken what she did to a proud Sanskaar.
Eager to know what happens next.
Best,
Nyna
