Yes it was shown

He was driving on the road

Naina hired two men to catch and beat him up they did it and she got out of the car took a knife and stabbed him

one of the eps last week i think

Look for the scenes where Pooja tells naren to investigate what happend to mayank and not just hurt those goons in jail
