Shraddha Kapoor who was last seen in the Haseena Parkar biopic has some interesting projects in the pipeline. While she is prepping up for Saina Nehwal's biopic, and will also be doing a horror-comedy with Rajkummar Rao, she has started shooting for her next film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. She is excited to start the new journey.
Earlier it was reported exclusive that Shraddha will be essaying the role of a North Indian girl whose life provides the plot for the story while Shahid and Yami essay the role of a lawyer. Shraddha will play Shahid's love interest in the film which deals with the topic of the shortage of electricity. A source had already told us that, "While Yami is the second lead in the film, the climax of the film will surprise the audience. Yami has a huge surprise for her fans and thus the actress is super happy being associated with the project. Yami fans will love the ending of Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
