As reported by a leading tabloid, Alia is growing closer to Kavin Mittal, founder of a popular messaging application. The duo met each other during the World Economic Forum in October 2017. A source told the tabloid that whenever she needs any help, the first person she contacts is Kavin.

The source informed the tabloid, "They want to take time to let their friendship evolve. Given their commitments, they see little of each other. But it's certainly a friendship that can go a long way."

The source added that Alia and Kavin have not been spotted together till now as "they don't want to make a public statement yet".

On the work front, Alia is currently shooting for Gully Boy withRanveer Singh. The film is directed by Zoya Akhtar. The actors are shooting for the film in the slums in Mumbai.

She will be seen in the film Raazi along with Vicky Kaushal. It is directed by Meghna Gulzar. Based on the book Calling Sehmat by Harinder Sikka, Raazi is about a Kashmiri girl who is an Indian spy and is married to a Pakistani army official.

Raazi is slated to release onMay 11, 2018.

Well, may be Ranbir-Alia are already in a relationship and looks like they're NOT really hiding it after all. But there were also reports that suggested that this whole link-up is a mega plan of none other than Alia's mentor Karan Johar. Apparently, Ranbir even had a fallout with KJo and Alia because the duo was trying to build up excitement for their upcoming film by feeding reports of their alleged affair to the gossip mills.

It just looks like there are competing 3 PR lines from RK, Alia and Dharma who are alternatingly admitting and denying the affair 😆

Why are people calling Kavin a success? Hike isnt exactly popular, the only reason I know of it is because whatsapp has 256 people limit! If you hear the interview, his conversations arent exactly insightful either. I enjoyed listening to Rao and his vision. Alia sounded like a megalomaniac, couldn't think beyond herself, but she is young, she has time.

SO Kjos PR is simultaneously running this story and Ranbir Alia story? 😕

Wonder what happened to the Alia Sid story? Was it all PR driven? Or did Alia actually dump him? And yeh Kavin Mittal ka chakkar kya hain 😆
