Not just that her 2nd BW movie Neecha Nagar was first Indian film to get recognition in Cannes Film Festival.

LOL.. it was Shashi Kapoor in 1964 as mentioned by L. ^

Also Neecha Nagar was not Zohra's movie.. nor it was a 'west' movie either.. so Zohra isn't the first bollywood crossover to west but Shashi is.

Technically both debuted in west same year...The Householder is more Indian movie than western...

I didnt say Neecha Nagar is western movie just that her 2nd BW movie got Cannes recognition.

Doctor Who qualifies more western project than the Hoseholder #justsaying.
