His type of acting is the kind that goes two ways - either good or bad or sometimes even a combination of both - I don't understand what it is.. I can't explain, he's a special case.

In all honesty, who would go see it with pankaj tripathi as hero. I find it very shallow when ppl say ok this guy looks like him so there you go..got our guy!

You need star power esp with a small film like this. Or akbar didnt look like him. Abhisek would have been in agneepath.

Hrithik is a star for everything. He can do the larger than life and the guy next door. Yes he is handsome but he is pure Indian so there is no reason he can't play a simple indian! Unless you mean to say that an Indian man is ugly!! Lol

TBH, HR is not a good actor and has always been in his father's shadow in his entire career. The only other way for him to get hits was doing all Remakes and sequels of already hit movies. His good-looks may also have worked in his favour.

Had his Father not been a Great Director, he would have been another Abhishek Bachchan here or there !!

Due to his looks Hritik can never be convincing to me in playing simple ordinary man character or someone from old times ...growing beard , bronzing his skin and making his lips white 🥱

Fiza, mission Kashmir, Agneepath, guzaarish, kaho na, zindagi milegi all these are normal character. And he played them very well.

His larger than life characters are Akbar and Krissh.

Not a great fan of his acting but he impressed me a lot in agneepath. I think he can be a very good actor at times, other times not so much. But he has potential. I hope he bounces back with a hit.

His last good movie was Agneepath and then Bang Bang (even though illogical) but since then I don't like any of his movies. He needs to take even off beat characters but having a good story. I just wish he does another movie like Dhoom2 else he'll just keep getting old and then lose chances in BW 😔
