My nanaji passed away today, I never lived/known him, but only met him approximately 4 or 5 times in my life...but nonetheless, the pain is there that he's no longer here...my mom was devastated, she couldn't stop crying until my dad read her some parts of the Gita... she had gotton up early today to make special food for my father as it was their anniversary today also...
sometimes life brings us the most unexpected hurdles that we don't even know how to get by...but I like to live by the fact that "if God brings you to it...he can also pull you through it..". Life is something I'll never understand or maybe none of us will. Time runs faster than we can catch on to, and yet we run this race thinking we're ahead. He was such a good man, I've never met a person who's soul/heart was more pure than his. He was taking Bhagvaan Ram's name before he passed away. We never told him that he had cancer...some things are better left unsaid/untold. I can't imagine whats going on with my naniji...how do you cope with such a thing? Your partner who you've lived with for soo many years is no longer there. Its something that some of us cannot even phantom but one day will go through... For some reason, I have a hard time dealing with death/passing away of relatives, more of a denial state for me...it'll take a while to sink in
Basically the whole point of this post is to tell all of you is take advantage of the things you have...unfortunately in my case, I honestly don't know what it is like to be close to any of my grandparents..and nor will I experience that... which is totally my loss, you won't know what you've lost until you've already lost it...don't take that chance! Life is strange but sometimes trying to understand it can be even more difficult...
