My nanaji passed away today, I never lived/known him, but only met him approximately 4 or 5 times in my life...but nonetheless, the pain is there that he's no longer here...my mom was devastated, she couldn't stop crying until my dad read her some parts of the Gita... she had gotton up early today to make special food for my father as it was their anniversary today also...

sometimes life brings us the most unexpected hurdles that we don't even know how to get by...but I like to live by the fact that "if God brings you to it...he can also pull you through it..". Life is something I'll never understand or maybe none of us will. Time runs faster than we can catch on to, and yet we run this race thinking we're ahead. He was such a good man, I've never met a person who's soul/heart was more pure than his. He was taking Bhagvaan Ram's name before he passed away. We never told him that he had cancer...some things are better left unsaid/untold. I can't imagine whats going on with my naniji...how do you cope with such a thing? Your partner who you've lived with for soo many years is no longer there. Its something that some of us cannot even phantom but one day will go through... For some reason, I have a hard time dealing with death/passing away of relatives, more of a denial state for me...it'll take a while to sink in

Basically the whole point of this post is to tell all of you is take advantage of the things you have...unfortunately in my case, I honestly don't know what it is like to be close to any of my grandparents..and nor will I experience that... which is totally my loss, you won't know what you've lost until you've already lost it...don't take that chance! Life is strange but sometimes trying to understand it can be even more difficult...

To realize the value of one year:
Ask a student who has failed a final exam

To realize the value of nine months:

To realize the value of one week:
Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realiz ethe value of one hour:
Ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of one minute:
Ask a person who has missed the train, bus or plane.

To realize the value of one second:
Ask a person who has survived an accident.

To realizethe value of one millisecond:
Ask the person who has won a silver medal in the Olympics.

To realize the value of a friend:
Lose one.

Time waits for no one. Treasure every moment you have.
You will treasure it even more when you can share it
with someone special.

God Bless You!!
Hope his Soul rests n peace...

I know how you feel!! 😭

This is what happened to me...

i went to Portugal, to see my Nana when he was ill, he was in hospital
there wasnt enough space in the car, so i couldnt go, i was going to go next day, but he died the next day, i missed him but just that one day, my Nani was crying so much, that was the first time i saw her cry. 😭

My Nana lived in Portugal and My Nani in London, although they werent divorced or anything... so they never saw each other that much.

My Friend:

Her friends cousin died, she was only 6 years old, no one knew how she died, but they found out in the morning, so maybe in her sleep
and guess what it was her birthday the next day 😭
she was going to be 7 years old, but she didnt make it... 😭
