It's about doing something contains potential of causing troubles later on. Sharanya smashing her nuptial bangles, not only injures her but also leaves her open to all sorts of speculations. Even her lies fail to save her as Rajan who rules the Bedi s with the iron rod can see she lies!
Broken bangles cracks up and holds to question, Vyom and Rajan's relationship, especially with regards to Sharanya ! The incident sure enough causes a fissure between Vyom and Rajan. To Rajan , Vyom's mad desire for Sharanya only makes his son see the smart girls pain! Vyom, though is desperate to play on making the pain issue work for him. it makes him challenge his father's cross questioning the injured in pain Sharanya. Rajan is livid to note that Vyom is diverted by her wounds rather than giving his father support in finding out the real story behind Sharanya s smashed bangles. Instead, Vyom is more concerned about nursing and mending his broken heart. So to me, Sharanya's action, fails to give off ominous signs to Vyom but causes a significant dent between father and son. The son is clearly only keyed into his wife's welfare rather than the incident. So events seem to favour Sharanya. Her broken bangles and lies do hold a truth!!
The sight of blood on Sharanya s palm, leads the frenzied loitering around Freddy, into another bold confession, Seeing Vyom nurse her makes him accuse Vyom of beings Shiv's murderer. Sharanya purposely double checks if he calls Vyom the murderer.? One cold look from Vyom throws Freddy into the mad man impression. No surprise! Freddy changes his statement to Sharanya ,rather the whole Bedi family a bunch of murderers! But then again, Freddy leaves almost narrating the truth ! even though under a dubious cloud, the man is mad ,he's likely to say anything!! But Freddy said it ! as a rod for their backs!
Elsewhere, Rati's support for Sharanya, prompts venom from Chandni towards both Sharanya and Rajan! Chandni accuses Rajan being the devil who holds many dark secrets! uses family members as pawns to suit his own agendas! Is a selfish father who looks out only for his son's interests. Even handpicked Sharanya as a bahu so she carries on Rajan's legacy forward. To turn Rati against Sharanya Chandni, throws in the issue of their children being denied the rights to family's wealth. Craftily Chandni voices a common concern within families where wider family members look out for the financial gains for their own off springs rather than familial bonding. But Chandni's pointer does stir Rati enough to check if Chandni's instigations have any truth to it . Rati possibly phones the family lawyer? So interior walls of Bedi family too begin to shake!
The broken bangles further creates dissension between father and son. Rajan purges emotionally before his infirm wife. Wonders if he made a rod for his own back by encouraging Vyom in marrying Sharanya. Rajan regrets his decision and fears the outcome when Sharanya gets to the truth behind Shiv's death.
The problem needs a solution! Vyom smashes a glass table when he recognizes how his father sorts problems! By finishing off the person who creates them? Rajan faces a danger greater than Sharanya's over smartness. His accomplice in crimes his son, Vyom suffers under the burden of guilt! Confesses dangerous truths about them being liars and murderers!not Sharanya who is his reason to live! Rajan can see Vyom's mad desire for Sharanya clouds his son's reasoning! Seems Rajan has lost his confidante, his most trusted home grown accomplice! What is Rajan likely to do? Finish off his own son??
However ,Sharanya's broken bangles do sown doubts within Vyom's mind. Rajan's suspicion that her stories do not tally, and thus may be she lies to cover up the real reason behind the broken bangles? Plague Vyom too. But his love for Sharanya is desperate to shield her against his father's doubts. only Vyom himself is in the dark about what to conclude about the incident ? Yet it sure is a scenario which gives Vyom enough reason to act on being a caring husband, by advising his wife to watch her steps! Here the broken bangles breed positivity for Vyom, as opposed to Rajan's negativity!
Even catching Sharanya eavesdropping warrants Vyom's jesting affection towards her rather than protest from Vyom now. Is his change of heart geninue? Or is it to lull Sharanya into a false sense of security to catch her out at lying??
With his deceptive track record even his smashing hand act on the glass table questions the real purpose of his knee jerk reaction. Was it genuine show of rage against his father? or is the graphic display of a bleeding hand with broken pieces of glass sticking out of it ,yet another attempt to give Sharanya the evidence that he inflicts self harm to partake in the pain she feels? Also it allows him good enough reason to receive healing from her! Gradually Vyom perseveres, in the hope that their shared pain, may one day help converge their lines of destiny too! Sharanya's broken bangles end up yet again being a rod for her back. She ends up being Vyom's healer! much against her will.
Treating physical wounds isn't bad enough as allowing Vyom the right to act the caring ,consoling shielding husband. Shiv watches silently as Vyom, tries to worm his way into Sharanya's heart ,mind and soul. Calls forth for her trust, urges her to lay bare her worries about being married in his family that thinks unkindly about her. Rather sincerely he consoles her not to delve too much on his father's harsh words. One can see Vyom tries desperately to make it up to her. In fact he suggests they go out on a date. Shiv has an idea.. much to Sharanya's consternation. Shiv, forces Sharanya to go out with the man, knowing him.. one too many drinks and Vyom will cough up the truth before Sharanya! Sharanya obliges the much delighted Vyom.
The question remains, does Vyom take her out so he can gauge the reason behind the broken bangles??or to find out whether she believes Freddy's mad babble of pronouncing Vyom as Shiv's killer as having an aorta of truth in it?? As for Sharanya will Vyom after a few drinks, reveal the truth she is looking for?? only time will tell? But one thing is for sure,Sharanya does the unthinkable because, Shiv suggests it and besides she has the security blanket of his presence around her. hamlet53 2.2.18
Shiv's role in the episode is pivotal as its he who veers Sharanya to concentrate on ways and means ,whereby Vyom himself exposes his truth before her. Sharanya's broken bangles, though kick starts tumbling the walls of Bedi household and many a tremors amongst close blood ties. The car disappearance vouches for the fact ,that Shiv's killer is also watching Sharanya's sleuthing closely .The scene is all the more important as it touches upon Shiv's philanthropic side. Well wishers are keen to support Sharanya in her venture to hunt out Shiv's killer. Shiv may be dead, but his good works follow! The main cast is impressive in the delivery of their roles and in furthering events in the story line.
