...and I liked it. Barring the climax which was completely idiotic, I think it was a decent entertaining movie. Definitely better than the likes of Golmaals and Rohit Shetty fiascos. Ranveer and Vaani did a really good job. Anyone else liked it?

Golmaal movies are good, so i wont say nothing about that, as i like them.

But yeah i liked Befikre, i mean for me i was expecting a good movie, a time pass movie, i got that. Chilled out and fun movie, and the good thing is sometimes its nice to see a fresh pairing and RV and Vaani were good together.

It was not as bad as I imagined it would be.
Once there was a similar thread on this movie. Many shared your thought. ( https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/bollywood/4906566/is-anyone-here-who-liked-befikre ).

If you watch the film simply as a "rom com" without all the baggage of "omg aditya chopra made ddlj so this needs to be epic" then one can enjoy the movie. I did that.
The way it was shot. The screenplay, it was actually quite impressive. The story on the other hand, fell flat. No meat on it's bones. And yes the climax was DREADFUL. And the karaoke segment and surrounding scenes were very poorly executed. You would think the great YRF banner would come up with a better medley. The music apart from the 1 banger was kinda whack too.

I liked the scene with Vaani and her mom in the kitchen. That was cute. I enjoyed this modern version of Aditya.

Horrible flick.

The scene with the mom in the kitchen was the best scene in the movie. It felt the most real and genuine out of everything. So much warmth and the dialogues were ON POINT. The actress that played the mother was great too. 😳

I agree with desu, I enjoyed it except for the climax.
Music is amazing too.

The kitchen convo too.

And yes if it were a newbie director's film, it'd have been praised more
