If its about consumer trust factor then i am not sure how many people would trust dhoni after that housing scheme scam he was part of and endorsed that made all sorts of ugly headlines!

I guess these brands don't want to afford Salman when they can get the same youth connect with some fresher star by paying him half the amount that they pay to Salman. Of course, he is in his 50s and not as much energetic as Ranveer, so Ranveer has a better connect with youth too. But that doesn't takes away from Salman that he is the most bankable star at the BO.

I don't get it, they're blaming his shady past for a recent decline. Why would that all of a sudden become a problem? It's nothing new. He's mentioned himself that he doesn't get too many endorsement deals due to his past.

Surprisingly many young people are fans of Salman - that being said, he's aging and can't hold onto the top spot forever.
