Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy with
Aanand L Rai's next Zero where he will be
seen playing a dwarf. The movie also stars
Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
Shah Rukh has time and again mentioned
that he has not signed any other movie
except Zero and wants to give in his heart
and soul to it.
Now, the buzz is that Bajrangi Bhaijaan and
Baahubali writer, KV Vijayendra Prasad, is
keen to work with Shah Rukh Khan and had
recently approached him with a revenge
drama script.
A source told a leading daily, "He has written
the story keeping SRK in mind. The two
recently had a meeting in Mumbai. Prasad
flew down from Hyderabad and narrated
the story to Shah Rukh.
"It is a revenge saga, with lots of drama and
action, reveals our source. But Shah Rukh,
who's currently busy with Aanand L Rai's
Zero, hasn't given a nod to the movie as of
now. "He met Prasad, but he is yet to take a
call on the film. He will wrap up Zero before
announcing his next project. He's still
deciding which one to pick, the source
added.
Apart from this, Prasad is also writing the
script for the sequels of Anil Kapoor's Nayak
and Akshay Kumar's Rowdy Rathore.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan recently joined
the ranks of Mallika Sarabhai, Shabana Azmi
and Amitabh Bachchan after receiving the
prestigious Crystal Award at the World
Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.
He was honored with this award for his
leadership in championing children's and
women's rights in India. Shah Rukh Khan
has been working with women who have
been victims of acid attack through his NGO-
Meer Foundation.
Shah Rukh Khan had given an inspirational
speech after winning the Crystal Award in
which he spoke about the need for power
reversal, the importance of service of others
and about women empowerment.
Shah Rukh had said, "Actors are renowned
narcissists. No matter how much we
pretend to not to believe in external beauty,
we tend to be obsessed by it, one way or
another. Perhaps being surrounded by this
obsession of beauty, a few years ago I came
across a lady who had been brutalized by an
acid attack and it kind of changed my life, or
the perspective of it at least. To disfigure a
woman by throwing acid on her face, to me,
is one of the crudest acts of subjugation
imaginable.
