After having said what he wanted, Arnav staged walk out, leaving Khushi in a reverie of thoughts, of him, of her and of their relationship.

She always wanted a guy who would stand for her against the world. To whom, she alone would matter and not the world or it's views. Now when she had found one like that of her dreams, she realized that she was the one backing away. While she was expecting support from her love, she was not ready to support it herself. Realizing that she had been an upright hypocrite to the one who cared for her, she decided that she was ready to take their friendship to the next level.

Arnav's breaths hitched as his brain speculated the words following Khushi's 'I' but he did want to avenge the rejection from his lover. What if she was playing with him?

She moved closer to him, placing her hand on his shoulder as she erased the distances between their faces and moved her lips to his ears to whisper,
