Sneak Peek of Part 5

"There are certain things which are better left incomplete, Arnav. Maybe our friendship is one of them," she whispered, looking intensely at him, trying to memorize each dip and curve of his face, which she was trying to forget. What power did one have against the will of their heart?

"Is this just friendship, Khushi? I thought I meant much more than a friend for you, just as you mean to me," he said, his voice giving away the agony pulling the strings of his heart.

"Just a friend. I never meant it to go beyond that," she said. She knew that she had a lie on her conscience but she knew that it was the best for both of them. They were two different worlds, which wouldn't meet even if they wanted, because that would just result in devastation of whatever little bit of peace they had.
