It shudnt be banned if its been cleared by CBFC specially when CBFC is under central govt which is the same party ruling these states that are banning the film! It makes no sense rather looks stupid.

The difference here is that Dilwale was targeted because of SRK as a person when Padmavaat is target because of its content or lack thereof.

Really now. What should slb and team.have done?

They were themselves up against royal families and their heirs who were protesting.

They were saved because of reviews and mouth publicity.

Not to mention the controversy during Malhari and pinga.

How should they have supported dilwale? Had it been a good film, it would have not failed. It had everything going for it.

i hav a feeling once the movie releases the bans will be lifted, coz tbh the movie has nothing wrong in it, it is about rajput pride, once everyone sees that the bans will be lifted

ram-leela was banned in Gujarat before release, but on the day of release the lifted the ban and it did very gud business in Gujarat
