Who is more wrong/flawed?
Arjun - perfectionist HEADBOY - the pride of Mr Rakesh
Naina - sach ki devi and class topper
Sameer - the naalayak 'hot' boy in town born with a silver spoon
ARJUN
Arjun is burdened by his father to overperform and has no other choice than win only for his dad's sake.
No choice of freedom in selecting his friends or time for that. All he needs to do is get all that his father wants.
Honesty is not the way he chose.
Justification - Obviously, poor guy one should have sympathy with him for not getting a breathing space - but the irony is he is even justified for his act of stealing paper for winning one of the "Lakshya" set by his father.
To err is human, to forgive is divine...
So lets all forgive Arjun even if he is dishonest. An amazing head boy and leader for the school students that anyone should look upto.
NAINA
Naina is the ideal person anyone would like to be. All teachers n principal love her, students envy her yet like her. Her words are like Bible to all, as she is known to be the pillar of truth. She is known to be a good soul, but an idiot for loafers as she knows nothing but studies and is not in the race for outer beauty.
Convenient hiding of "sin"
Justification - Her dad has gone through a lot, and coz of her - mother is apparently no more. And she continually gets the blame. So the only ray of hope for her father is her brother's success. Well does it matter how he got it?
On the contrary she is ever ready to put blame on others, the moment she it is anyone else - esp a rich brat. Coz its easy to blame game as she is a righteous soul.
To err is human, to forgive is divine...
So lets all forgive Naina even if her partial statements caused a bad mark in others life. How does it matter? He is a rich brat and unlike them has everything according to her and yet is aimless and good for nothing. So what if their relations fail trust coz of her statement.
SAMEER
The hot 'boy' runs away from truth. His contest to be a head boy was to win his mother's love. But he was on the losing end. It did not end there, always he is defamed and slapped by Mr Rakesh as his 2 children are toppers and ideal student and apparently Sam is a distraction for them as he is rich.
The "Revengeful Bet" - the only solution for him being tagged a loser by his loved ones, and school as a whole.
Justification - He is sullen at the fact that all his attempts to win his mom's love and confidence went futile. On top of that the school boys who are jealous of him and his looks and status, compels him to prove that he is not a failure. A typical bully reason. And yes, he decides to play with her feelings - Coz he lost his mother, not bothered about his student career and all.
To err is human, to forgive is divine... but uh uh.. nope this is only for the poorer status people not for the rich!!
So lets all not forgive Sameer, coz he has sincerely attemped to seek forgiveness. That is selfishness right? Coz he played with Naina's feelings and her future prospectus chance to love and trust anyone.
The topper siblings seems to have forgotten the 3rd law of Motion by Newton
"For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."
Someone as useless and aimless hot boy who has not seen hardships in others lives regret and repent over his mistake even though it is a reaction. But how convenient for the siblings to voice out other's mistakes before seeing their own actions repercussions.
They are the ones that belong to a perfect loser hypocrite low middle class mentality who is jealous of being like them and can never be thinking that its money that is lacking. But they need to know, to change means to be steadfast truthfully with an undying spirit and not be a double standard human.
Shefali - always showed the mirror to Arjun, that he is not a hero for her unless he learns to accept the facts and live by that. Rather than taking your frustrations out on someone else is a sign of a loser.
Arjun and Naina is doing that to Sameer. They are hurt not because they are poor victims, but its hit their ego. They are frustrated on how is it possible that someone could deceive them, when they are perfect souls. But are they? Have they retrospected it once atleast? Have they anytime felt their father is over the board over reactive soul and their silence is giving him grave opportunities to defame Sameer only coz he hails from a rich family. So what is his mistake?
Looking fwd to ur responses..
Love,
Sajini
