You heard that right!
I am talking about the PILLARS of TRUTH and SACCHAI - The Trio of Agarwal Clan, Rakesh, Arjun & Naina.
The 3 PILLARS of TRUTH or SACCHAI!
Are they really!
In this post, I will try to decode each one of their TRUTH and will be interesting to know your perspectives too.
Just a clarification before I start. I am a staunch supporter of Naina Character. So, I urge many of you to hold your thoughts before shooting the words.
RAKESH (The first Pillar of TRUTH but has a raging Volcano Inside)
The epitome of TRUTH and Role Model for Naina. Yes, all will say Chachaji is her role model. However, when it comes to Rakesh, all the CHACHAJI's teachings are not applicable.
1st Pillar of Truth - Mr. Rakesh
(RAKESH & ARJUN DYNAMICS)
Somewhere deep inside Rakesh, there is love for his kids, particularly for Arjun. However, that deep located love is covered by layers of greed, inferiority complex, anger, spite, vengeance, jealousy, and hate for many others.
Rakesh wants to be acknowledged by others as someone famous or influential. That's why he is pushing and pressurizing Arjun to the brim of desperation. The desperation to be known as the father of a successful and wealthy cricketer. He is least bothered by the psychological effect he is putting on Arjun. He does not even realize it.
It's not that Rakesh does not love his son. He does in some distant way. But Rakesh's love is expressed as long as Arjun delivers what he wants. If Arjun fails, Rakesh will not stop only at shouting, taunting him. He can go to the extent of even disowning Arjun. Rakesh will keep doing it until the point Arjun breaks down completely - emotionally, physically and mentally.
Then also it seems Rakesh would not realize.
Rakesh is also a prime example of a Male Chauvinist or Supremacy. He spites against all women he knows, even the ones who are nice to Rakesh and her children. Case in point is Bela Chachi. Bela took care of Naina like her own daughter. But Rakesh is still so rude to Bela. No ounce of being thankful.
Also, when Arjun failed to perform well in the Selection, he shouted at him publicly in school "Do not play like a GIRL"
Rakesh is a first-degree male egoist.
In my view, Rakesh will be the sole reason for Arjun's failure in life.
(RAKESH & OTHERS/SAMEER DYNAMICS)
Rakesh also hates anyone who is either Affluent, Succesful or comes from a rich/influential background.
He hates NANAJI and keeps calling him TRUSTEE (rather than addressing Nanaji by his name with respect. Nanaji is elder to him. Rakesh fails to understand that Nanaji is successful because of hard work)
It shows Rakesh is Jealous of Nanaji. He fails to realize that part of his salary also comes from NANAJI - The Trustee.
Rakesh is, in fact, bitter of the fact that his brothers are doing well than him (I agree he had sacrificed for his younger brother who respects him immensely. But all the anger Rakesh vents cannot be justified).
Rakesh's Jealousy for the Trustee Nanaji also extends to Sameer. Hence, Smaeer in spite of not doing any apparent harm to Rakesh is the point of his hatred. Rakesh talks about being an Adarsh student, but he does everything that a good student should never do and sometimes behave like a downright roadside rowdy.
There is a big gap between what he preaches to Sameer & other Students and what he does in reality.
2nd Pillar of Truth - Arjun (He is also possibly the Next Mr. Rakesh)
I can explain various shades of Arjun. I will start with the term CHICKEN.
He loves his father and realizes his pain. He understands that Rakesh hopes a lot for him and he wants to fulfill Rakesh's expectations. That is Arjun's plus point.
However, apart from that, I think as of now he has no particular positive trait. Why?
Arjun is a hidden Male Chauvinist. It is very clear from his interaction with Shefali. I don't know how much he will change! People rarely change a lot. They just modify. (There are always examples where people change a lot for example Sameer. But Arjun does not appear the changing type). The mental state Arjun has, he is the perfect candidate to become the next Mr. Rakesh.
Shefali is showing interest in Arjun sensing some redeeming qualities. However, the fear and hidden male ego of Arjun will make it tough for both.
Arjun is a compulsive and adaptive lier. The constant pressure to please Mr. Rakesh has turned Arjun into someone who can do any wrong to fulfill his need/fear of making Rakesh happy.
Arjun does not feel much guilt or he can suppress it for long. He knows for long that Sameer is convicted falsely for paper stealing by his sister. Someone else, who is innocent in this matter, is being constantly humiliated for Arjun's crime.
He did feel guilty for some time, and then Arjun suppressed it without bothering that an innocent is being punished for his fault. It is another sign that he is turning in to Next Mr. Rakesh.
3rd Pillar of Truth - Naina
She is the central character. Almost all of us connect with her. Me too. Almost all my posts are in favor of the character. We all appreciate her devotion and love to Sameer.
However, lately, few things are getting beyond acceptance level.
Under all the lectures of being truthful, sacchai and never lying to Sameer (that's her exact words), she has been lying through her teeth.
Though Naina says to Sameer, she knows he is not guilty, but she will not lift the public perception that Sameer is the exam paper thief.
It brings forth another dimension of her character. Naina seems to be dedicated and truthful to the point it suits her narrative.
She loves Sameer. So she will do everything (with love dedication and lies) till the point it does not cross with her own family.
For example the scooter incident. She did all to fulfill her urge/need to go to Mount Abu with Sameer and spend time with him. At that point the scooter incident (a minor event), Naina conveniently put the funny "Rakesh Forgot where he placed his scooter" tag on her father.
But when it comes to incidence of major importance that can affect RAKESH and ARJUN (for their greed, theft, and blaming/hitting someone innocent) and SAMEER ----- Naina prefers to keep silent and also not feel the guilt of NOT proving Sameer innocent in this matter.
The point where it all started, at that juncture Sameer was just a crush for Naina. So, it is understandable for her doing so.
However, when Sameer became much more than a crush, into a lifelong love for Naina with whom she wants to dream & build future, hiding the paper stealing truth is no more justified.
It just indicates that though Naina loves Sameer, he still comes lower in her priority lists. It is shown in such a way that if it comes to choosing between Bro/father and Sameer (at a point when both are mutually in love and want to move ahead, Naina will ditch Sameer just because Rakesh said SO! ... 😆)
Naina seems to be ready to "LET ANYTHING SLIDE" when it involves her family (Even if they are completely wrong). Ok, we realize the family pressure she has. However, always preaching to be truthful and still hiding that her brother is the thief and someone else is being falsely framed to save the reputation of her so-called SACCHA/ROLE MODEL brother and father, now seems out of place.
****************
Sameer's Predicament:
HE seems to be the perpetual punching bag for the
(R - A - N) Agarwal Trio 😛😆
It seems like Sameer came to the Earth just to get slapped, beaten and abused/rebuked and emotionally punched by the Agarwals.
Kitna maroge Bache ko.
Lol ... Even I agree ... this slapping of Sameer by Agarwals (First Father & Now Brother is getting out of control). Kuch Bhi ho bas maarna Suru Sameer Ko.
Its extremely high time Arjun is SHOWN his place for the exam paper stealing thief that he is and Rakesh is shown his place for the VIOLENT and tyrant/selfish father that he is (Rakesh wants Arjun's success not for Arjun but for himself).
Compared to both Arjun and Rakesh, Sameer is Milk Drinking Toddler.
Justice should prevail and both Arjun and Rakesh should be shown their truth.
It is shown in such a way that if it comes to choosing between Bro/father and Sameer (at a point when both are mutually in love and want to move ahead, Naina will ditch Sameer just because Rakesh said SO! ... 😆)
Sameer & Rakesh ... the way forward:
Rakesh Hatred for Sameer just comes from the fact that Sameer is from a rich family.
Right now he hates Sameer just for that fact only. In some convoluted way, Rakesh thinks Sameer as the competitor of Arjun or someone that Arjun should become (in terms of being rich).
The interesting point is Rakesh wants all this not for anyone but for himself. At the center of everything is his hatred for people who are affluent or successful.
Rakesh wants Arjun should be a famous and rich cricket player as it suits his ego. (somewhere deep down he does want's his son's success however if Arjun fails he would not be supportive. He might Disown him)
And Rakesh plainly hates Sameer as he took the chance of standing against his son (Rakesh way to glory). He hates Sameer just because he is rich and from money. Nothing else.
As I said previously, its high time Both Arjun (A question paper thief) and Rakesh (A violent and anger-prone person) are shown their true places.
In my view, things will never be cordial between Sameer & Rakesh.
Wrapping up the post:
All now left is to see, whether Naina keeps supporting her Pillars of Truth - Rakesh & Arjun even when they are blatantly wrong and let Sameer keep getting beaten every time.
And at the same time give Sermons on TRUTH & SACCHAI.
