Part 1
Om Prakash & Santoshi Bhalla are very wealthy people. They are renting their building to a lot of tenants in their house in Panjim at Goa. Vishwanath and Madhvi Iyer are staying on the ground floor.
One morning, Vishwanath is having his morning prayers as his daily routine. Suddenly the skin of the egg falls on the puja plate much to the anger of the Iyers.
Vishwanath fumes. He yells at Toshi, "What the hell do you think about yourself? You have ruined my puja by throwing the egg onto my plate."
Toshi: It is my house I can prepare anything that I like. Who are you to tell me what I should prepare? As for your puja, even you can it in another direction which does not face my window.
Vishwanath: Everyday you kill some animals or the other. Sometimes fish, sometimes, chicken and sometimes goat. What all you will kill? Your mind has become like those animals.
Toshi: That is none of your business. And if you talk about killing, even plants have got a life but still you people take their lives. As for my killing, yes, I will also cut my husband if it comes to that. Who are you to question me?
Vishwanath and Toshi keep fighting. Madhvi also joins the fight in Vishwa's favor and tries to stop the fight.
Vishwanath: Look Madhvi, how Toshi is talking? They don't belong to our level.
Toshi: What level are you talking about? I can understand everything that you talk even if it is in Tamil.
Om Prakash comes out and drags Toshi inside. Whereas Madhvi takes Vishwanath inside.
Bhalla
Toshi: Madhvi stands for her husband but you don't have time for me & your family. Either you are engrossed in newspapers or your business.
Om: I am fed up with these daily fights. What was the need for you to throw the egg skin downstairs? You could have put them in the dustbin too.
Ishita comes out of the bathroom & is getting ready for the college. She diverts Toshi & Om, informing them about her leaving for the college. Ishita reaches the college. She goes to the library to borrow books.
One of the library staff asked, "Which book do you want?"
Ishita: I need Pride & Prejudice book.
The librarian said, "Just a minute. I will get it."
As he goes to the shelf, Ashok comes there. He said, "Hello Ishita, I guess you have come for the book. This book is quite interesting. You will like it."
Ishita takes a look at the book and finds a nude picture. She retorted, saying, "This must be your mother's picture. By the way, I have never asked for your opinion. If you don't behave accordingly, I will complain to the Principal."
Ashok: Why are you bringing the principal in between when you can resolve it here.
Ishita: If I want, I can complain even now but I am not doing that but if you mess up with me, I will complain.
The other librarian comes & said, "Take this book."
Ishita: Thanks a lot but knock some sense in Ashok's head about the way he behaves with girls.
Ramu: Don't worry, I will tell him.
Ishita leaves.
Raman is on his way to his house at Panjim. He is coming by bus. As soon as the stop came, Raman gets down. He comes home. Madhvi welcomes him.
Vishwanath: How is your work going on?
Raman: I left the job.
Vishwanath: Why did you leave the job? Don't you know how difficult it is to get a job?
Raman: There are a lot of politics in the office. My boss does not support me even though he is happy with my work. He humiliated me even in front of the clerks & the peons.
Vishwanath: You are really a fool. You should have tried elsewhere before quitting this one.
Madhvi comes in. She asked, "What is the matter?"
Vishwanath: Your dear son has left the job just because his boss insulted him. Does he know how important it is to be employed?
Vishwanath's friend named Hariharan comes in. He said, "How come Raman is here today?"
Vishwanath: What to say. Raman left the job just because his boss insulted him. Please get him another job.
Hariharan: I will definitely get him a job. My office is in Hyderabad. Raman can join my office.
Raman: I won't go to Hyderabad. I want to work here.
Vishwanath: What are you talking? You are lucky to get another job & you are discarding it.
Raman: Hari, if you have a job here, please tell me.
Hariharan: Well, I have an opening here as well.
He gives the company address to Raman.
The next day, Ishita is riding a cycle. Raman is jogging. Ashok is stalking Ishita & is coming after her. Ishita sees that. She catches up with Raman. Ashok runs away seeing them together.
Ishita to Ashok: Coward. You don't the have the courage to face a man.
Raman: What is your name?
Ishita: My name is Ishita & what is yours?
Raman: I am Raman.
Ishita: What work you do?
Raman: I don't know Hindi. I speak Tamil.
Raman & Ishita show their house to each other.
