Muslims Boycott Sonu Nigam in Dubai Live Music Concert, Why?

An Indian Famous Singer Sonu Nigam who is supposed to perform in a live Music concert in Dubai, which is being opposed by Muslim people as he expressed his displeaser over Azan on (loudspeakers) last year and called the act is nothing but a Gundagardi. A Social Media post is being circulated among group boycotting his appearance in the live Music concert in Dubai Duty-Free Tennis stadium. Here is post,

DEAR MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS, INDIAN SINGER SONU NIGAM IS PERFORMING LIVE ON 12 JAN, 2018 AT DUBAI DUTY FREE TENNIS STADIUM AND IN QATAR ON 19TH JAN 2018 IN DOHA EXHIBITION AND CONVENTION CENTRE. BOYCOTT THIS EVENT AND SPREAD THE MESSAGE TO MUSLIMS AS HE IS ANTI MUSLIM & HE HATES ISLAM AND AZAAN. YOU ALL MUST BE KNOWING, HE HAS RAISED OBJECTION TO AZAAN (ISLAMIC CALL FOR PRAYER) IN INDIA.. HENCE LET PEOPLE KNOW WHY WE SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS PROGRAMS. FLOP HIS SHOW WITH THE HELP OF SOCIAL MEDIA. SHARE MAXIMUM TO ALL MUSLIMS, SPECIALLY IN UAE, QATAR & GCC COUNTRIES. (SIC)

Why is he performing in those countries anyway where Azaan is the norm

I almost feel sorry for the guy. He had such a huge fan following and now everyone is out to get his blood.

He is reason for his disastrous career

Aan kal kuch bhi ban karwane keliye log ready rehti kuch kaan danta nahi hai kya inn logon ke paas!

Why would he want to perform in those Muslim countries wher Adhan is inevitable ? Does it disturb his sleep only in India ?

Ok I agree with people who think that he could have had a better career, but guys come on..he's still made a better career than most singers have in India. He has been nationally and internationally acclaimed. He has been known as the voice of India for quite some time. Let us not reduce all of it by naming his career as a disasterous one. By no means or parameter has his career been a disaster. Even now he is one of the highest paid singers. And to all those questioning his performance in UAE/Qatar, are u guys seriously that dumb it just pretending to be dumb? He questioned the use of loudspeakers at 5 in the morning on a daily basis. Any sane person would know that that is all it was. Would u like it if an Aarti was blaring at 3 am everyday??? Not everyone wants to get up at 5. God, I am ashamed to be born in India which is only secular Sab long as no one comments on the minority. I want to know one other country where an Aarti is legal at 5 in the morning and I also want to know one other country which isn't Muslim dominated which plays the Azaan on a loudspeaker at 5. These same Muslims when they go to US will keep their mouth and Azaan shut! Be logical guys and just tell me one other singer who has achieved as much as he has in recent times before reducing his lifelong career to shambles just to satisfy ur stupid egos

India isn't obliged to allow that but Nigam is a hypocrite for performing in countries where Azaan is the norm

Why?? He doesn't have an issue with Azaan. He has an issue with loudspeakers at odd hours. How much more clear can he be? He doesn't have an issue with Azaan when it is played at 12 in the afternoon or 5 in the eve. The law in India clearly states no loudspeakers afrom 10 pm to 6 am. He raised an objection to that. He mentioned gurdwaras and Aarti's too. Nobody seems to be remembering that.
