She was going great guns till 2015. I will never understand why she decided to go to Hollywood to do an ordinary film like XXX. Don't think it did much for her. Instead she ended up losing out on films in Bollywood. Being at the peak of your career and then not doing any movies for 2 years is unthinkable.
Anyway, I really like her and want her to come back with a bang.

As for relying on a director, you want her to work with a crap director and give a hit😆 Deepika's script sense has been pretty impeccable for a long time now, she should continue to do well in that regards in light of her past experience.

I think the thing with Deepika is she is to expensive for most of the interesting proects coming up.
Controlled budget is the key to success : Tamasha would have been a hit if it wasn't for the budget!

Nobody is crazy enough to do another Bombey Velvet or Rangoon.

Anushka went the producer route : she is doing it for herself.

Alia, currently, is getting all the meatiest projects : I have a strong feeling it's because she charges less .
