I feel this poor girl has been through enough this year. Will her magnum opus Padmavati release?

She is not, she has been doing well in her career and hasnt looked back after Cocktail.

Despite not having any BW film release for 2 years she remains at the top is on the highest paid , has amazing brand value..How can you say she is jinxed?

more than releasing or not..more will depend on how it is actually RECEIVED..if it tanks it can surely damage her career at an extent

i feel she has gambled badly on 2 movies..XxX and padma which have taken more than 2 years of hers..bad move

lets not forget her peak 2013-2015 had her in as many as 3 movies on avg per year

she badly needs to do more movies and diff genre..

priyanka recently raced ahead and became the only actress in forbes top 10..

so deepika should pull up her socks..taking stardom for granted is never good..her position remains unaffected but till when..

Lol and ur blaming it on the most successful out of the 3 leads in it..

It could be jinxed coz of a certain kapoor who has had such issues with his films before and does not have a great BO record either as was being discussed in another thread.

It also depends on the films that are being made right. like back in 2013 and 2015 there were great films being made with good roles for the heroines too.

DP has signed one film with VB and irrfan khan.. Not too many movies coming up, good scripts are hard to find, and she is in a position wherein she wants to do quality work.

You can't even say she lost out on an opportunity ..
