A known name in the TV industry, Jaswinder Gardener is currently winning accolades for her performance as Madhavi Bedi in Ek Deewaana Tha on Sony TV.
Not known to many, Jaswinder has played key roles in movies like Ready, Chillar Party and Rowdy Rathore, before wooing us as Vyom's (Vikram Singh Chauhan) mother.
The stunner performer whole-heartedly believes that it is much difficult to enact negative roles.
When we ask her about whether TV actors get type-cast or not, the lady with a smile replies, "I think TV is a medium wherein if you take up a negative role, you will get type-cast and will only be offered such characters. I have never played a vamp and I personally don't like enacting negative characters.
Talking about her mysterious character in Ek Deewaana Tha, she says, "My look in the show might be like a vamp but my character is positive. Loyal viewers must be wondering it to be a purely grey shaded character or a wicked lady but there is more to the role. A lot many mysterious elements are yet to unfold; soon audience will get the clear picture about my character. Madhavi is a concerned mother and loves her son but she is controlled by her husband.
"In today's time, TV shows are predictable enough. One can guess about the upcoming sequence. However, our serial is completely different. It is a very unpredictable series. Every day there is a new mystery that is getting unveiled. Audience is enjoying. I would just want to say that the show promises a great story so hold on to it to witness the same.
