Hi guys, I am wondering if the show is actually worth watching??? I love Manish Goplani because he's super cute...But is it really interesting??? I remember there was a show called Gulmohar Grand, which was presented well, and was interesting here and there...but I lost interest halfway through even though all of the characters were super cute...I really feel the content has to be good these days for me to want to watch it...or really interesting...Please give me your honest opinion..Thank you. ..Its intriguing because its actually something different...Also if youve watched Dev...which one do you think is more interesting???

For Manish I will see this show, but honestly Dev was better than Detective Didi..

one point I would like to highlight is that, this show doesn't look like detective series..all 3 cases are dealing with social issues..if you are expecting that cases would be something with lots of suspence that who is murdeder and how murder happened, your expections will not meet with this show..
All three cases had nothing to do with pure detective drama, whereas Dev had that factor in cases, mystery behind murders and cases!

If you want to watch a proper detective show...then DD is not the one
but still i would suggest that you should watch at least one sunday episode to decide if the show is worth your time or not

For me it is worth watching...
but this is show is completely different from Dev in a way that Dev was all about detective drama but in DD they usually focus on social issues and have a good message in the end...
as it is not complete detective series it have some family drama too... and basically shows how a girl can handle such difficult profession and still manage to take care of her family too...
i tried to tell u about the basic storyline else u can decide by urself whether to watch it or not... 😊

Being an ardent fan of Dayanand Shetty, CID has been my all time favourite, there will never be an another evergreen show as the CID, it's incomparable... Next I am Manish Goplani fan, so for him I am watching DD.. I haven't watched Dev neither Gulmohar Grand so I am clueless about those shows...

Detective Didi is not really a detective series as till now it focused on social issues
As I am a Manish Goplani Fan I am watching DD for him
But at end it gives some message in a positive way
No idea about Dev and Gulmohor Grand as I never watched these shows

Only following for Manish. If Manish wasn't a part of it, I would have never watched it

Same here.
The concept of a young woman fighting social issues in some sort of police context and still taking care of her familiy situation is interesting in the Indian tv serial set-up, no doubt. But it's certainly not new. Look at the US 2011-2012 shows Missing with Ashley Judd or the Homeland series we also know from Indian screening or, perhaps the godmother of them all: the Miss Marple episodes of the blacknwhite era 😛

But it's always best to judge for yourself - so invest 2 hrs (today all in one go!) and have a dekho 😆
