A note to writers: Why this potentially amazing track is failing

1- Too much of anything can be bad, and that is what I have to say about the overdose of all these jail scenes. Why are the khanna's not being shown, who were last shown before leap having given Neil the cold-shoulder? This track should have had a balance of avni's life in jail and showing the equation of the khanna's with neil as well as with avni. But here the khanna's aren't even being mentioned, let alone shown. The whole track since the past 8 episodes since the leap has happened has just been of avni's jail politics and neil's tashan with vidyut, but no family scenes. Neil can't be working 24/7 or just living with neela to not be seen with his family.

2- Apart from giving vidyut some attitude and baby sitting avni in jail, please also show him making plans against vidyut and more of neil as neo. So far you guys have shown neil as all words, no actions in his so-called mission to get avni out of jail/ prove her innocent and destroy vidyut. What was the point of showing neil as neo for just one scene? Also please give us the back story on why neil decided to become neo to destroy vidyut's business, instead of actually looking for proofs against him.

3- For goodness sake, give neil a proper rank. How long is he going to be the rankless IPS neil khanna for? You guys can at least go back to calling him ACP. Nobody complained when he was ACP, as the complaints were only for the DCP promotion.

4- You showed the changes in avni from becoming emotionless, calculative, calm and able to predict people's actions before they do anything, but since the moment neil has entered the jail, you've completely took a u-turn in avni's characterisation and just reverted back to showing her as the same impulsive, emotional and angry girl in the presence of neil. Avni supposedly changed herself so that she could predict and counteract her enemy's moves and leave no clues behind unlike the old avni, but she's not even able to handle her own husband according to you guys, let alone her enemy. What was the point in showing this initial post-leap change in avni if you were going to show her as the same old avni in the presence of neil? The angst, pain, hatred on avni's part for neil is diluted with silly scenes of neil trying to make avni jealous and taunting her. This is getting annoying to see.

5- Why is neil being shown conveniently ignoring the pain he has inflicted on avni and the changes his actions brought to her? There's such a disconnect between neil's reactions and emotions upon seeing avni in jail. Except for a few token moments you guys show us of neil internally thinking about his stupid guilt of leaving avni to rot in jail and hurting her, you guys are not showing much of neil's pain to actually see avni in this place, the way she is living and her hatred for him. You guys are showing non-stop scenes of him being insensitive towards avni who is already hurting due to his actions by showing silly scenes of him taunting avni and making her jealous. When you guys have already shown him leaving her to rot in jail and making her believe he has severed his relationship with her, why show him taunting and hurting her more rather than showing his pain and guilt. I would much rather see guilty and hurt neil seeing how much avni is being affected by what he did whilst trying to prevent her from getting into trouble and away from vidyut rather than seeing these silly taunting and jealousy scenes.

Sorry for his long rant guys, but I thought to share everything that the writer's are doing wrong in this track, and not only will I be passing this list on to the team, but also hope that you guys will spread this on social media too so that the team get the memo before the audience completely reject this new track. If anybody can condense all my complaints to make them brief enough that the point still gets across, please do and pass along to writers.

Just want to put down my POV! I don't completely agree but there are couple of things I do agree.

1) I do wanna see Khanna's myself. So yes, I hope we do start getting their scenes coz I am really intrigued of the type of camaraderie Neil now shares with them and what they have been upto?

For points 2, 4, 5) I think with regards to Neil and Avni scenes: I don't see that Avni's post leap new avatar has gotten a back track coz of Neil or Neil is ignoring his work towards Vidyut and planning his downfall. The issue here is that Neil is not giving a single second for Avni to even think or plan her next move. Even if she was able to for time being plan to make sure Neil doesn't reach the tunnel, Neil made sure that she was out of her cell for the longest time so that he can just block it off. And even with Neil, right now his first and main concern is not letting Avni escape out of that jail coz she isn't aware of the danger lurking around in the form of Vidyut. And hence, right now, his total focus is stopping Avni from escaping and once he is done with that, he can plan his next attack on Vidyut! And with Avni, its not that she isn't trying or predicting. I believe one of her reasons that she started those free time stuff for all the Kaidi's is because she could use that time to plan her stuff without coming into notice. She has been considered one of the calmest Kaidi and if she starts reacting little bit differently, then people will doubt her. And she cannot risk that as of now. This is totally what I felt and believe. Hopefully I am not offending anyone with this.

3) Regarding the rank, I think we did react a that bit more than required regarding the position. I mean there is so much humbug stuff shown on the television with regards to the legal system or medical science. Medical Science is a total joke on ITV to be honest. Personally, I would have loved the DCP position. But now, with the backlash or complaint or whatever, they changed it. So I guess for now, we will have to deal with it until they find another solution for that.

Again! totally my POV! You don't have to agree. Not intending to offend anyone.

What has happened in the past few episodes is, we get clear glimpses of avni's time in jail, even though her relationship with inmates is yet to be shown.

But when it concerns Neil, everything is left to our imagination. Whether it is inner turmoil or his relationship with his parents or neo back story. Or his struggle with the system that he is a sworn member of, his faltering, frustrations, and emotions. They all need to be shown.

What I am getting from neil right now is only GUILT.and I am more than convinced thatvhe is guilty. So, what is next to guilt? There is got to be more.

As far as the acp/dcp/ips thing goes, ips officer sounds funny, but it doesn't concern the story. So i'd overlook it.

And Neela's look is also not working. Neela had greater things to do than changing her look. But I, guess, as it doesn't affect the story again, I'd overlook it.

What I am not willing to overlook is Neil's pov. When is that going to happen. The only discordance I find in this track is Neil. And that is frustrating and irritating too.

Neil is supposed to be a connecting link between Avni and Vidyut. And you cannot have a weak plot line or a single view track for this link. He has to see the bigger picture. Also, he needs to understand that just Avni breaking out of the jail is not the only problem he is facing. Those waters run deep. Her problems are running deep. And he has got to work on that as well.

I am sick of speculating, imagining things and trying to make out bigger sense from the scenes that are shown. I don't want to imagine anymore. I WANT TO SEE.

IF and only if they work on neil back story, this story could become the track I had expected it to be. Zain and Aditi are brilliant with the emotional scenes. I hope their potential is as well exploited.

1)Avni becoming an abla naari on feeling betrayed by Neil

2)Neil becoming a drunkard after not being able to tolerate separation from Avni

3)Vidyut leading a trouble free life

4)Khannas searching for a new bride for Neil
