So I just remembered a scene from the film and started to laugh. Some of the action scenes were so illogical. Like the armor scene when they all made a ball of armor. 😆 Don't get me wrong, I love the cast but who believes in that stuff?

It is a fantasy movie, something borne out of comics.
You cannot expect it to be a logical reality based movie.

I think they put in a lot of work in the making of this film...the cinematographer said they had different action choreographers for each different action sequence...

Yeah that one was a little funny. I preferred the war sequences in the first film. Those were kick ass especially the formations they made.
The palm tree stuff in the second part was funny. But I loved the film.

I did not this movie was based on Indian comic, but still this movie was unintentionally funny at some scenes. Had great fun when watched with my cousins, making fun of that palm tree sequence, saying anti gravity 😆

I think the action sequences in BB2 vary from brilliant to tacky, but overall they work very well in a fantasy narrative.

The conceptualisation/visualisation was fantastic, but the execution lacked finesse. Sloppy editing in some action scenes and poor VFX in some.

Given that it was a fantasy film, SSR had the artistic liberty to do certain things, but using humans as stones against sling to transport them inside a fort was not the most logical thing to do! But the scene where bahu and devsena together shoot 6 arrows from a bow was reeking with awesomeness.

The makers played real smart in generating nationwide curiosity over 'why kattappa killed bahubali'. (The answer was predictable and blah!) Slow 1st half and absence of logic were major drawbacks. But the film had its share of some brilliant moments and the right emotional connect with the audience.

The film holds tremendous entertainment value; that's why it garnered huge reception from audience and mammoth b/o record. Some times, we are expected to forgive the shortcomings and appreciate the sheer scale of presentation. BB2 is one such film.

I was watching clips of this old tacky movie. Kajol looked like she wasn't even enjoying this role. Her role as the twin sister was ridiculous,...
