Does young girls and older ladies don't get assaulted?

Just saw Begumjaan. There's a scene where a girl is getting molested so an old woman strips herself to fend off her assailants. The same girl does the same as a preteen when she strips in front of police to save her friends. Both times her assailants leave them alone.

W*F? I don't get why the film showed that but I have heard all types of women get assaulted. Age doesn't matter to sick people. 🤢

It is stupid and highly ignorant of anyone to deny the basic fact that women of all ages and from all walks of life are being subjected to brutal sexual assault. Perverted men don't discriminate and they indulge in promiscuous sexual relations. Women and girls experience sexual violence at high rates. Younger ones are at higher risk generally. Men and boys are also affected by sexual violence. Age is not the criteria for sexual offenders.

No wonder the movie flopped terribly.

Begum jaan, a film about women fighting patriarchy was regressive, tacky and also cliched. Mindless violence and cacophony. It overlooked the real trauma faced by women during that period.

Regarding the scenes you mentioned - oh yes, the sight of the old naked woman would have made the rapists repent and run away 😲. Rape is as much about showing one's power over the weaker sex as it is about sex. Later the undressing of the teenage daughter in front of the police officer made the officer change his mind from raping her mother 😕. I couldn't get my head around the film maker's understanding of rape and how simplistic it was to stop such crimes from being committed. 😡

I think movies in the past(I am assuming this is an old movie?), movies in the past always had perverse ways to get show women characters into revealing their bodies, and such scenes were put in just so that a lady would show skin - no logic or thought behind the story or scene. Just an excuse to get women (of different age groups in this movie, for audiences with various tastes to get a view of what they want) to strip or show skin or cater to imagination someway, so that people go and watch it.

Oh WAIT. I just recalled "Begumjaan" - the recent movie! 😆 WOW.. 😆 ..no comments. Such a stupid movie.

Even cows get sexually assaulted. Saw a disturbing news few years ago an old man raped a cow on a rail track.
