Agree with you simi I also feel the background for this separation and leap is weak you can't suddenly show avni lacks trust where she stood like a rock with Neil throughout the juhi episode.
And I really wanna know what they did last 6 months to bring her back to prove her innocence expcept from Neil becoming Neo to destroy VR's businesses and she is gonna continue to live there for god knows how long (looking at the jail setup I assume it's gonna be 1-2 months more)
There priority should have been getting avni out 1st and then destroy VR.
