Not more than a few weeks ago, drowning in the conundrums of Juhi and Mishti and the havoc it wreaked on his life, Neil had said one thing to Avni.
It is only because tum mere sath ho, that's why main apne life ke sabse complicated phase ko face kar pata raha Hun.'
Unfortunately for Avni, the same can't be told.
This is her life's most complicated phase since the tragedy of her childhood and when she needed Neil the most, he is not there with her.
We may know as onlookers that he has hidden ways of protecting her, but on the surface and extensively on so many levels, Avni is truly alone in this.
You cannot help but feel for the girl from the core of your heart as you look back at her selflessness not once or twice but every time, especially when Neil was threatened by the baggage of his own past. Not once did this girl leave his side, but rather only chose to give him support whenever he was in need of it or regardless.
This makes the ground all the more strong on why it will be so hard to bring back Avni after she has become Ananya thoroughly like we saw today.
Many of you have mentioned that she will be back to Avni the moment she knows from Neela or elsewhere Neil's Reason behind arresting her, but the rationale in me doesn't suggest so.
Prison changes people. Add to that betrayal from the person you love the most: even if the truth is disclosed to her she would have a valid reason to never let Avni surface again:
Who gave you the right to make my decisions for me?!'
Or
What did you get by hiding the truth from me, leaving me alone to rot in jail and believe that you ALL think I murdered Juhi?!'
That's what even I would say/do if I were here, in my utmost conscious state.
Protecting, leveraging, etc. all of it takes a backseat as a reason/excuse, because trust me, nobody has the right or audacity of deciding for you, that too taking such a BIG life changing decision for you. Not after you are legally an adult of course.
Just my thoughts.
