I agree with you completely. Avni is being made to suffer alone when everyone knows she isn't at fault. They all think they're protecting her but how is letting her think she's been betrayed by her nearest and dearest protecting her? They want to stop her from becoming Ananya but they forget that the last time she became Ananya was become she'd been betrayed by her family, her grandmother and lost her mother and been accused and framed of her murder by her family. Her Ananya shield comes out when she's been hurt emotionally.

Leaving an innocent woman to rot for six months on her own in jail isn't right. I mean it'd have been better if Avni managed to run away. This girl has suffered since childhood and she thought she'd found a home, people she could trust, a man who'd always be on her side and he threw her to the wolves basically. Yes in his eyes he might be protecting her but really he's making decisions on her life. I wouldn't blame her for being furious when she finds out the truth. It's the only thing that'd make sense. Her being like "thank you for throwing me in jail for 6 months and letting me think that I have no one in this world all because YOU thought you were protecting me" wouldn't make sense. If anything she would be angry that she wasn't told about decisions that concern her.

I don't get how no one that loves Avni thought that bringing Avni's deepest insecurities out and making her think she's alone is a bad idea. Do these people know her at all? No matter if she finds out the truth it won't change the fact that she for 6 months thought she was completely alone and was left to rot in prison. Of course Ananya will come out if you shove her in between criminals. What did they think would happen? That she'd be protected and safe and happy in there until they found the truth and brought her home? This girl hates the police system. Of course being forced to be locked up for something she didn't do by her hubby would change her. Of course after being betrayed by everyone she'd focus on hate and getting revenge. In fact this is worse than telling her the truth about what Vidyut said because at least that way she'd know she has her loved ones but here she feels like she's got no one and the people she did have like Ali and Neela are on Neil's side and letting him do this to her and no doubt once the truth is out they'll make it sound like Avni should be grateful to Neil for doing this when really he took her choice away.

I don't agree with what they did because I know this character and I know how much she has suffered and how much this would damage her. I don't see how they don't see that?

I am glad my post compelled you to make your first post on IF.
Just to tell you factually, a lot of factors in our life can affect us only if we let' them affect us, and this is a lesson both Avni and Neil need to learn, for their respective trust and impulsiveness.

Neil trusted Juhi without a blink and Avni became obsessed with Mishti in her impulsiveness.
Neil acted as an oblivious police guy, leaving Ballu instead of arresting him, never trying to figure out how to catch hold of Vidyut.
And Avni went in her unstoppable avatar to rescue Mishti.

Of course the benefit came in Vidyut's hand.
Now call it CV's stupidity or simply Indian TV, that Neil is being shown helpless whereas in reality he could have simply recorded Vidyut's conversation with him where the latter was asking him to trade Avni er cetera.

We can agree to disagree but truth is , in no way Neela and Neil's thinking is even remotely right that by sending Avni to jail they would refrain her from becoming Ananya
And as we know exactly the opposite happened!

If Neil has done a lot for Avni, Avni wasn't being an insipid silent one either.
Who the hell keeps up with her husband's ex and their alleged daughter? She did!

It takes two to tango.
Let's not forget that.

Woh tho villian Hai yaar. Uska kaam with kar raha Hai. Par what we are thinking is

Neil should say to avni that he trusts her. She will happily go to jail if he asks her to go. But in cover of protecting her they killed her emotionally.both Neil and neela are at fault here.

Avni can save herself in jail. She knows how to deal with criminals and people. She was doing that for her whole life.

Simi love you yaar for thinking and analysing so much on avni eventhough I love both avNeil equally it has to be accepted that everyone adore and tag Neil as mr.perfect no matter what he does may be it's zain's performance ka Jadoo I guess and everyone easily accept and tag avni as impulsive and lacks trust on her loved ones she doesn't put Neil as her first priority and her love for Neil is yet to become unconditional etc...

Because getting hurt by your love is a lot worse than getting hurt by your enemy. Vidyut is a villain in the story, it's to be expected from him and he's creating the circumstances but the hero Neil should be held responsible for his own choices too like letting her think he thinks she murdered Juhi and that she's all alone. Everything can't be blamed on Vidyut when the hero is taking away her choices too.
