So Porus completed 3 weeks now, and the makers seem to have done a fantastic job. This week was all about the introduction of Porus, and his upbringing in the Dasyu clan.
The Good :

Compared to last week, this week episodes were fast paced. They did show a lot of content. Laksh's entry dialogues were well written. Even the ship fight scene was beautifully choreographed. The sets representing Dasyu clan are well built and look very real. Another good thing was the way in which Darius's control in Pauravrashtra was represented. Puru and Laachi's chemistry was crackling.

The Bad :

Porus's intro scene was a tad bit Bollywood and Kollywood inspired. Also the story wherein the stepmother hates her step-son is way too clichd. We saw that in Suryaputra karn and Maharana Pratap, where Radha hates Karn and loves her own son Soum, and in Maharana Pratap , Rani DheerBai hates Pratap and loves her son Jagmaal . Also, Kanishk character seemed to be clichd.

We only got to see one scene of Olympia and Alexander, but next week it is gonna be about the Macedonian storyline, as well as Puru's entry in Pauravrashtra.

Special mention to actors playing Dasyu leader ( Tarika from CID ) , Ripudaman, and of course, Laksh, who excelled in their acting.

I agree! Looking forward to the story progression. Let's see what we have in store. As clichd as it seems but Indian audiences love this stepmother - puppet stepbrother - hero angle so I'm up for it. And it's interesting here that Puru has two stepmothers - Pritha & Kanika. Double trouble means double fun!😆
They haven't shown Anasuya's whereabouts :$
Is she really dead and will never meet Puru?

Yup, Lacchi Puru are awesome!
Good review 😃
