Had Mishti been Neil's daughter and he had one child from Avni also, then would his love for both the children different?
Is it like he would have loved his and Avni's child more than his and Juhi's child because he loves Avni and has no feelings for Juhi?
As a mother I can say that it won' be different a father loves his kids same irrespective of mothers. This is the majority of the case.

But I think I have seen in some old movies that the father loved his kids from present wife more than the kids from ex wife. Here also Neil felt responsible for Mishti but didn't display much attachment towards her

I personally feel is inclination towards his kid with Avni would have been more for two reasons. One is of course, he loved Avni to infinity and beyond. And the second one is the fact that his baby with Avni would have been a planned one, where he's mentally prepared and wholeheartedly wants to have a child of his own.
They say parental bonds form way before, with the child, from the time the baby is in the womb, and hence, Neil would have experienced this whole journey from the time Avni would have conceived and thus, connected deeply with the baby. It also settles well with his life cycle.. Where you fall in love, get married, or get married and fall in love << have a baby.. unlike, you study in college, get drunk<<spend a night<< unknowingly father a child. So yes, I feel that way, Neil's connection with Avni and his baby would be way stronger. On the other hand, if Mishti was indeed his kid, this was something uncalled for, and thus, an unceremonious arrival in his life, especially since he was not even aware that he got his ex-gf pregnant from a night he doesn't even remember when he was hardly 20, and lo and behold, he has a full-fledged 5 year old daughter! Not only is it too hard to digest, but such connections and bonds take time to build. So I feel even though Neil would have loved Mishti had she been his own daughter and fulfilled all duties of a father, that connection, that love would have taken much time to develop, compared to the love for his child with Avni.Strictly my POV.

Well explained! But again I was thinking suppose in future their arise a situation in which he get to learn about Avni and his child after that child is born, then I feel he will be shown to have more attachment for the child then he had shown for Mishti
My uncle has a boy from his first marriage his first wife died in accident and from second marriage has a girl...so i didnt see any difference in their bond while they were growing up. May be this is a subjective matter differs from person to person.

Yes it is a subjective matter. But if somebody's wife died in the accident then there is a chance he still loves her. In Neil's case he doesn't love Juhi anymore

Yes of course
And not just his feelings but his age too plus a key role here
He is very mature now and is in love with Avni and looked at a proper future with her..
The combination of it all resulting in a child with Avni is something I would say he would be damn emotional about and in all his senses he would want to have that child with him by hook or crook.
