In a very general perspective any child is an independent life on its own without being tied to the parent for being loved or hated..

But it is very subjective.. Some parent may loathe the kid if he/she has hatred for their spouse and show it on the kid.. There are also some parents who get separated but want to keep the kid for the love of the child...

On a lighter note, In this case Neil being Neil would've loved his kid be it from Juhi or Avni or Mitali or Rhea.. And even if the queue grows on and on.. 😆
