I'm looking forward to this film -- but come on, can they have even one poster of the multiple that have been released with the women on them or are they nonexistent in this film?

It's BW. Even a woman's subject is totally male-dominated and they're completely shameless about it.

If it's anything like Toilet, it's going to be a horrible movie too. But I guess this is Balki, right? Maybe then it won't be bad. I found Toilet excruciating and unwatchable.

The story is based on Arunachalam murugunatham...it is basically his story..and all the characters are secondary to his story...nothing to do with Male dominated

Well we did hear Sonam's voice in the trailer. And she was the one teaching Akshay's how to pronounce PAD MAN properly. If she had been a man one would have said she was mansplaining and if she had been an occidental one would have said she had a patriarchal attitude. I don't know if it was intentional or if I'm reading too much into it but it was clever.

Oh..well done! Kudos to Balki & Akshay for such a gutsy display. The character of akshay raring to go, is holding his own manufactured sanitary pad in hand, ready to introduce the business model to the world.

Although the film deals with the concept of promoting female hygiene it's a biopic and a story that centers around Arunachalam muruganandham who found a way to make cheap, affordable sanitary napkins for women in rural areas. It's hero-centric here and the women characters are mere supporting players who help him in scaling new heights all along his journey.
