direction with Main Hoon Na, she did not
have to look beyond Shah Rukh Khan for
her leading man. With the exception of
the box-office dud Tees Maar Khan, Farah,
who has been close friends with Shah
Rukh for two decades, has cast him in all
her films. But if a report in Deccan
Chronicle is to be believed, Farah might
opt for a younger actor for her next
directorial venture.
She had approached Shah Rukh, but he
has a chock-a-block schedule and has
been unable to give her dates. Apparently,
he is also not very convinced about the
film offered to him by Farah. After waiting
a while for his nod, she has decided to
move on to a younger actor.
"Farah has been busy with her TV shows
of late... But once her show is over, she
wants to start her film and hence has
decided to look beyond Shah Rukh for the
film. She had done it earlier with Tees
Maar Khan, but failed because the film
with Akshay Kumar flopped badly. This
time she wants a younger actor in the
film," a source told the publication.
Farah has gone on record several times to
say that she is most comfortable working
with Shah Rukh, as they go back a long
way. "I think together when we do
something, it always creates magic," she
told IANS earlier this year.
