Completely agree with all of what you said Dazz !!
Its heart wrenching to see Zubia and Noori ðŸ˜In the first episode when Nooris father angrily says to her mother that see the result of sending her to school i felt thats how it ends up always . It might not be education but some other small day to day matters like girls heading out at night(specially in India) . At the end of the day it becomes girls's fault . You cant blame family to be more careful too in some situations and there is not solution to it unless society changes for betterOn education part yes it does enlighten people and strengthen them .But Dazz even in educated society it is still almost the same regarding this issue .And there are uneducated people who are more mature and kind on the other hand. And yes Zubias story too is equally troubling and when she was disclosing to her Aunt ðŸ˜

Avani, that too crossed my mind as well. I even told my mom that how are these poor girls expected to acquire an education when it's clearly unsafe for them to leave the house? I don't blame the parents for worrying for the wellbeing of their children, but thinking that your own self-respect is tainted because someone took undue advantage of your innocent daughter is absurd to me. Why is it the norm for the elders of our South Asian cultures to be so afraid of what others think? I feel as if many people are controlled by this notion that "What will people say?" 😳 Let's stand up for what's right and bring about a positive change in our cultures and the mindsets of many. How long will women bear the repercussions of actions that are beyond their control? 😠You're right, Avani. Not all educated people are broadminded and tolerant. In Yakeen Ka Safar, Rab Nawaz Shah is a clear example of the hypocrisy that exists even in the educated class. 😕 Imagine being in Zubia's shoes and watching your own father kill your mother in a fit of rage. What kind of psychological impacts would a girl like Zubia suffer in the future? I foresee post-traumatic stress disorder with extensive cognitive-behavioral therapy for a patient like Zubia. 💔

Dazz our dear Doctor , you would know the best about healing of someone like Zubia .But again even if a person undergoes this therapy or treatment wouldnt their whole life still be marred with this ?? i mean their decision, their thinking everything would change drastically!! Although even small incidents will determine course of our lives but it wouldnt change our thinking our personality much like how Zubias situation would be .. Again you would know better 😊
Ghuma ke baad Yakeen ka safar...
This serial is hard hitting reality. Shows families with different values..Lot of things are involved in the behaviour of fathers that we are questioning - upbringing, values, society, corruption, law, government, family background etc...Even in US, now we have ' The Silence Breakers' (Time's #1 person of the year), so many harassment cases coming out in open.. after so many years women are standing up for themselves...Need to have courage..Coming back to story, yes, Nori is the common link between all the families. Her baby brother is so courageous and encourages her to speak truth..Some people have this fire in them to change the world...My heart goes out to Zubia and Noori. I think Zubi's dad needs some physcatrist help...I love Daniyal's family and OMG Geeti is so understanding...It is really good to see such smooth relation between hubby and wife..Love Asfi...😃, looking forward to his scenes..Loved Zubi's masi as well. No wonder masi is indeed ma jaisiI love the way people interact with respect, the tone of talks ( Asfi's family)..SO much to learn in terms of language for me.. Hindi and words are different...
Hey guys...you know it's going to be very hard for me not to talk about the what happens further
since I've finished watching the complete series. I will be quiet for a while so not tospoil it for you all. I hope it's OK to mention this...Just be prepared for a really sad event before things turn for the better as the story moves along.I have to stress about actors, story, dialogues...everything's so well doneLike Ami mentioned in another post, locations are all real, no studio sets & I like thatIn fact much later, you will get to see a beautiful countryside location for the rest of the series. And there's a sweet love story you can all look forward to 😉.Me too, love Asfi & Zubiya...The actress Sajal Ali is so sweet looking. In fact love all of Asfi's family...the Actor who plays Usman, Asfi's Dad has acted so well...Such a calm, composed character...will stay that way till the end.Oh, and did you all notice the (female) actors have so little makeup...they are naturally beautiful. 😳I am so glad I came across this series. Thanks Dazz for opening this discussion thread 🤗

I anticipate a happy ending, Mish! 😃 I don't think this drama would've been as great a hit if the ending were to be unrealistic or average. 😳 Don't be mislead, Mish. The actresses on Pakistani television wear a ton of makeup. 😆 It's just that their application is much more natural than what we're used to on our Indian side. They actually indulge in plastic surgery, botox, and fillers a lot more than our Indian industry. 😛 No actress in their industry is natural! 😉
