many Bollywood stars have been opening
about recently. Because of their courage to
come out and talk about, they have proved
to inspire many who have gone through the
same problems.
Agreeing to this point is Kajol who told a
leading daily, "Actors coming out and talking
about their mental health issues makes a
difference because then you realise that
someone that famous can also have the
same problems that you face. Therefore, it's
not that big a deal, and you can talk about it.
Also, sometimes in our heads, we build our
own problems and make them much bigger,
but when we talk about them, we realise
that it's actually not that serious."
Getting candid about her own mental well-
being, Kajol revealed, "You have to give
yourself time to absorb everything
happening around you. I have days when
there are so many things to be done, and
you can't go to sleep, as your mind is still
working. So, giving time to yourself and
your mind is important."
Meanwhile, Kajol, who was last seen in
Dilwale when it comes to Bollywood movie,
will next be seen in Pradeep Sarkar's
directorial which is an adaptation of Anand
Gandhi's Gujarati play, Beta Kaagdo.
Kajol will be playing a single parent as the
story revolves around a mother-son
relationship.
Pradeep was all compliments for Kajol as he
candidly said to a leading tabloid, "She's an
awesome actress who picks up a role and
owns it. She has her own style, charm and a
particular way of talking that enhances the
character."
